Wonderfully maintained very old hotel. Lots of private sitting nooks for rest and relaxation. Used the complimentary row boats for any afternoon row on the fjord.

Very friendly hotel, convenient location, super clean and good athmosphear.
Loved this hotel, such a beautiful setting right on the fjord, would highly recommend this property. Easy to walk to some great little restaurants, very pleasant staff
Phenomenal location just at the shore of the fjord with room facing the water. Nice room with balkony. Very nice breakfast. Pleasant staff. Highly recommend this place.
The property was nice, right by the water in the fjord. The breakfast was nice. We booked a family room and it was a little tight but did the job. We used the canoe boat in the fjord- it was free for guests. Overall the hotel was a little pricey but good.
Overall a great stay for our family of 4 in the family room. Only negative was this room directly butts up to parking lot. So it can be noisy with people walking by if you have windows open. Parking at property is a hot mess! Breakfast in morning was wonderful and facilities were beautiful.
This is a really nice family-run hotel. Great location on the fjord shore. Lovely garden to sit in. The pool was v nice, albeit not sure it was really heated to 24 degrees! We stayed in a family room - myself, wife and 15yr old son - very nice decor and modern bathroom. Stayed one night, should’ve stayed longer. Ideal for fjord trips and exploring the area. The town itself has limited food options but the pizza place was v good - we sat in the sun down by the small harbour area overlooking a beautiful fjord. What’s not to like?! Would highly recommend.
A perfect place to enjoy a day on the Sognal Fjord
Such an amazing and helpful staff with many extra ammenties to ensure complete enjoyment of the fjord and surrounding area with row boats and bicycles. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and well appointed. We got the bonus of seeing many orcas feeding on fjord during breakfast.
The view from our room was stunning! The hotel itself has many thoughtful personal touches in the decor, the many different areas to relax and enjoy the scenery. Like a mini getaway if you were a local. The pool looked inviting but we didnt have time to enjoy it.
