Good quality to price relationship

Had to travel with family for a school activity and found the hotel basic and comfortable, no frills or luxuries but had everything necessary. Although the exteriors look old and outdated, the interiors have been upgraded and are nice, the staff is kind and helpful.

An old facility that is being renovated; bathroom was excellent and clean, room was also clean. WiFi was weak but did work eventually. The outside of the building needs some maintenance and there were "hangers on" on the property who were not registered guests.

My only notes being that the restaurant has clearly been closed for some time and the pet fee is 15, not 10 dollars. My room was equal to that you would find in a reasonable chain hotel where you would probably pay more. Nice people, good stay, will come back for a stay when i hiking in the area again.

This is a dated facility, readily communicated as one drives into the lot, with furnishings and equipment to match. It was clean enough, however the overall impression was a bit tawdry due to age. There was amateurish calking in the bathroom, although effective, it was shabby in appearance. Recently painted, the bathroom doorknob was heavily masked with tape that no one bothered to remove. The 'ice machine' consisted of a small chest freezer with bagged ice poured into a plastic tray, dispensed with a scoop. The floors are wood laminate and clean. The bed frame (ours was a king) made a thunderous, booming sound every time it was nudged. I leave it to your imagination. There were few guests on a Friday evening, and it's doubtful that its survival will be long. I'm sure the male desk clerk wears many hats. I don't know that he's the handyman, however it wouldn't surprise me if he was. It's a safe, cheap place to stay - just don't expect many amenities. Nearby El Camino Restaurant up California St. is good if you like Mexican, however it serves other food as well. Good service and friendly servers.
