MOUNTAIN LODGE # 233 CONDO - 2 BEDROOM, 2 BATH - BEDDING: 2 Queen beds and a Queen Sleeper Sofa. This condo is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath with a full kitchen, 2 queen beds, and a queen sleeper sofa. Dishwasher, Washer/Dryer, Stereo/CD, TVs.

BUILDING AMENITIES: Mountain Lodge is centrally located with access to a Ball hooter lift and the Village, Resort Shuttle Service at the entrance to the Parking Lot, gated parking on site and Bike Friendly lodging, a large gathering area in Lobby complete with a log fireplace, a coin operated game room, and a play area for the little ones. Free WiFi. Free Long Distance Calling. Bike storage and washing station are available. Access to the Split Rock heated pool and hot tubs is available at an additional cost. Mountain Lodge now has an eco-friendly indoor Glice Skating rink at an additional cost.

UPDATED HOUSE RULES: ~ Reservation holders must complete check-in requirements. ~ The reservation holder must submit a photo of their driver's license, and a selfie holding their driver's license for verification ~ A signed Rental Agreement must be returned within 24 hours of booking ~ No Pets - Pets found in non-pet properties are forbidden and will result in immediate eviction without refund and incur a $250.00 charge to the credit card on file ~ No Smoking or Vaping. ~ No large gatherings ~ Check in time is after 5:00 PM ~ Check out time is 11:00 AM ~ Mandatory quiet hours between 10 pm and 8 am ~ Minimum age of reservation holder is 25 ~ No mailbox access will be granted, no exceptions are made. ~ For homes with a private hot tub, a cleaning fee of $100.00 is charged at the time of booking.

Location, location, location is what you are getting from this condo. It was very convenient to park in their gated lot and unload skis once. It is literally at the top of the mountain ski out. This unit is on the second floor in the middle of the building. It’s a very basic stay condo that could use updating but was functional and convenient for our family. The washer/dryer was a nice surprise. The tv is not a smart tv but does have a dvd player (pack some! We didn’t and wished we had). We enjoyed the restaurants in walking distance and loved the waffle cabin right outside for a slope side snack. Staff was very friendly and helpful at the mountain lodge.
Just finished a four night stay with a family of four including a pre teen and eight year old. The mountain lodge is one of several choices in Snowshoe village. It consists of three floors of condos and is right at the top of one of the bigger chair lifts. The condo is clean although starting to show it’s age. The lodge itself seems to be among the oldest properties up there. The beds wer comfortable enough and it wasn’t too loud. The kitchenette is tiny but functional. The wifi is adequate which is important because of the spotty cell service throughout the village. It was robust enough to stream one movie or show at a time but not much more. Overall a good experience.
Cannot beat the location for ski in/ski out convenience and proximity to the village. But my positive points pretty much end there. All of the furniture and appliances in the unit are the absolute cheapest you can find in their categories. Beds were hard as rocks with lumpy, uneven pillows to match. Couch was also lumpy and uncomfortable. Several of the dining room chairs were legitimately about to fall apart, wobbling, or crooked; someone is going to sit down and injure themselves on those things! The microwave makes a terrible sound that is not confidence inspiring. The heat in the unit is odd, the bedrooms got very hot at night despite leaving the heaters off 100% of the time we were there. My only guess is heat from adjacent units makes them warm and no there is real way to cool them off short of opening a window in the freezing cold winter. I could go on, but those are the highlights. In short this unit cost WAAAAY too much money for there to be any excuse for the state that it was in. I paid over $600/night (after all the fees and taxes are added in) to get terrible sleep for 4 nights.
