Property is a bit outdated, but the location is ideal for access to Snowshoe Village shops and restaurants, plus ski in/ski out is awesome. Beds were comfortable, and the space is good for a small group. The only minor issue was low/no stock of essentials like toilet paper and bar soap for the bath room, but this may have been an accidental housekeeping oversight.
Nice condo; very good location; clean and had all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay. Excellent communication with the property owner/manager. I would seek this condo out again for a future stay.
We enjoyed our time there. Location was great, near stairs and elevator. Bed was comfortable and furnishings were updated. Kitchen pans could use some updating, but not a big deal. We would stay there again
We wanted a rental with easy access to the Snowshoe Resort and lifts. This rental satisfied that condition. Enjoyed all the extra commodities, such as wifi, tv, and kitchen. Would not rent if you have more than 6 people. This fit our group of 5 guys perfectly! 5 Stars
Ski in ski out location is great but the general purpose areas are very dated and the room itself is dated and was not clean. The pull out couch mattress has stains and uncomfortable and the bunk bed was very dusty.
Mountain Lodge is immediately adjacent to the slope, primary lift and a short walk to The Village. Very convenient. The public spaces in the building and ML237 specifically have the feel of an outdated freshman college dorm in need of a major renovation. The staff stumbled re general information about room readiness and the shuttle. Their attitude was aloof. The main lobby area smelled like an elementary school cafeteria. The TV signal frequently refreshed making TV watching a frustrating event. The unit would accommodate (6) if they were all 12 yr olds on a sleep over. The description of the unit is puffing to the extreme.
My daughter and I made a quick spontaneous decision to get up to Snowshoe from RVA. We left early, 6:00 AM, to get to and on the slopes before 10. Our Check In was for 5PM that afternoon which worked out perfectly for us as we spent our entire day on the slopes and in the village til our Check In time. We were able to access the Mountain lodge parking which was ideal and convenient.
15 runs later we finished the day at 4:30 and checked in promptly around 5 after dropping off our rentals. It’s a quick 10 minute walk to Mountain Lodge from the Village.
The condo is perfect. No frills. Easy fold out couch out for my daughter and the master to myself. The furniture could use a little updating (pillows and bedding), and maybe a complimentary coffee for the coffee maker but that’s nitpicking.
Communication was top notch and we’ll be back again for another ski adventure.

Mountain Lodge
Mountain Lodge is a convenient location however the accommodations need to be updated. Again, good location. The rooms have older furniture, bedding and not the most comfortable sleeping arrangements.
Do not use Google maps for directions. Go to Snowshoe’s website for driving directions. Fun slopes.

Great location. Super value for the money. Ir is a little worn down but we were there for the skiing and not the room.
Good location, clean and well kept, great 4 for people short getaway to ski
Place was brilliantly clean. Location as excellent as expected and walking distance to the slopes but being on the parking lot side, quiet enough to not be disturbed by the groomers snowguns or skier/visitor noise from outside the building.
Layout is good for up 4 people to stay for a few days of skiing. Would stay again for a short stay here for sure, if staying for longer or more people, look for a 2br in this building.
The generous lobby areas, fireplace and slopeside sky lounge areas are very useful shared areas.
Everything in the unit was clean and in working order. Dishes and cookware for 4+ people easily. Appliances and heat worked smoothly.
No calls to the desk needed but clearly communicated that the front desk could help with any ammeneties or issues.
As of Fall 21 the balcony, as is all of the Mtn Lodge building is currently under replacement construction so the door is openable but gated for safety.
Only gripes were very minor the unit is a little smaller in person than the pictures appear, granted the owner can't do much about that. Bathroom toilet in particular is a tight fit, need to downsize the cabinet.
Minor, but to the owner, the hallway ski racks are ineffective, too tall and old to hold modern skis safely, they just slip through to the floor, need a lower ski shelf or replacement at lower height, and I'm one of the few people who ski the longest skis made currently. We kept our skis in the bathroom closet instead or having them underfoot in the hallway.
BTW to anyone staying in summer, it is quite clearly AS shown in the listing that this into does not have AC and would depend on the porch door and windows opened, and the provided fans in the unit including a useful exhaust fan in the bedroom. Same for every other unit in this building.
We stayed at Mountain Lodge during a GNCC event. It was centrally located, but far enough away from all the noise for a well rested sleep. Parking lot accommodated our truck and 20’ trailer without issue. Communication from property manager was great.
Just be aware that you will need to take extra towels or washcloths, if you plan on taking more than one shower. Or you can “rent” or wash the given ones at the lodge laundry facilities. The kitchen had all supplies that we needed too.
I would definitely recommend this property/manager. If they host another GNCC event then I will book this same room!
The location to the slopes was ideal...actually perfect! The building itself looks very rundown but our unit was sufficient. The only downside of the stay was the heat (way too hot and difficult to manage even when turning it down) and the bed in the bedroom was very very uncomfortable (definitely needs to be replaced). However, a great stay overall.
This condo was in the perfect location with easy access to the slopes, dining, and shops. We thought there was a view of the mountainside from this condo, but the view was of the parking lot. Overall, perfect place for a weekend away for 2.

Nice location but the bed was horrible
Great location except the bed was extremely uncomfortable and the pillows they gave you to use were the worst things possible along with the blanket. Must bring you own pillows and blanket.
Would not stay again because of how uncomfortable and old feeling the bed/mattress was!
