"Sherri was very kind, responsive, and clearly wanted to make sure we had everything we needed. There were fans throughout the house, and sticky notes with instructions around the cabin to help us understand how everything worked. Her attention to detail and willingness to help were definitely appreciated.Unfortunately, despite her efforts, the cabin was too hot during our stay. There is no air conditioning (I take that as our mistake as we didnt make sure beforehand) and the fans weren't enough to make the bedrooms comfortable. This was especially difficult for the little ones. The tower room shown/described in the listing was not as we thought it would be, the room is literally the entrance. Some areas of the house were very nice like the swing and jacuzzi, but outdated at the same time. The bedding for all rooms appeared old and were uncomfortable. Also, make sure not to leave any laundry (not even a towel) as it will be 75. The combination of the heat, sleeping conditions, and room situation led my family to leave about half a day early. I do want to emphasize that Sherri was kind and helpful. The house is beautiful and very spacious and gives the cozy cabin vibes with a beautiful view. I'm sure its lovely in the Winter. Unfortunately, the accommodations simply weren't a good fit for my family, particularly during hot weather. I would recommend that future guests confirm the exact room configuration and sleeping arrangements with Sherri before booking."

"We enjoyed this very large cabin with 6 bedrooms/6 baths. The cabin was nicely decorated. It was comfortable with a very nice home vibe. The views from the 3 decks were fabulous! Our grand kids loved the game room. Our grown kids loved the overall comfort and space to spread out. Martin was very responsive to every question. We cooked all of our meals in the cabin. I always bring my kitchen utensils and pans I’ll need, but this cabin was well stocked with pots and pans. We rent cabins 2-4 times per year. I loved almost everything about this cabin, but the beds are hard. No one else complained about the beds, except me. There is highway noise from the Rim of the World Hwy, but it wasn’t distracting for most. My daughter actually napped out on the deck. We travel to the mountains to relax. Everyone in our group of nine enjoyed the cabin completely."
