"We had a great trip. Charcoal grill and fire pit in the little back area gravel space. It was cold the first night, I recommend bringing a small space heater or extra blanket, but the heater kept up fine the second night. Great stay! Cute and cozy place to relax."

"We booked this place for a quiet Christmas getaway, and could not have been happier. The host prepared the house with lovely Christmas decorations and had everything clean and ready for us. The property was gorgeous, with plenty of outdoor space for us and our dogs to walk around and enjoy the scenery. Very quiet and secluded. The house itself was incredible. Would not hesitate to come back and bring friends."

"So it is a little, in expensive, road side hotel, but the room was very clean, the breakfast was top notch with sausage l, eggs, waffles, fresh fruit, great coffee with a selection of cream flavors, and various bread options s, etc. Bust beat of all was the staff! Met the desk clerk, the cleaning staff, and the breakfast gentleman. Everyone was so friendly, nice, and helpful."

The mattresses are getting a little saggy, but the historic charm and comfort of the hotel is always on point. We appreciate being able to walk to restaurants and the convenient locations to drive to whatever we need. We were bummed the Swamp Fox closed an hour earlier than advertised, though. "
