"PROS: good location and can walk to restaurants, nice waterway view, : nicely decorated lobby and rooms, elevators worked, breakfast delivered to the room, small fitness center, rooms with kitchens
CONS: very noisy A/C units like something I’ve never heard, noisy construction next door, noisy window cleaning… JUST PLAIN NOISY!
Sliding glass door to the balcony had no screen so couldn’t be left open for fresh air and windows don’t open, no maid service unless you request it, toilet paper holder very far from toilet, shower door leaked/ had to slam it to shut it, no water view rooms with two beds… had to sleep on uncomfortable pull out sofa with metal bars in my back ( the king bed could not be separated into twins for our girls week end), had to pay $7/night and $1:59’fee’/night to park the car, no restaurant there, I would not stay there again"
"The outdoor pool was shut down and will be for the season but we werent told until check in. This is due to construction. The indoor pool was pretty nice. The hot tubs are sma but nice enough. The ocean is truly right there and you can sit on the balcony and listen to it but there is no view of the water. Overall, i was disappointed with a few things but very nice peoperty for the money. Once construction is complete it will be a 5 star i am sure."
"Walt is a creeper that cares more about trying to Big Dawg the guests so he can attempt to impress his co-workers that are by in large 50 years younger
than him, than he does being hospitable. He’s totally lost the plot and believes he’s the main character. We’re all there to bolster his ego. People that talk about Southern Hospitality, have clearly not traveled very much because in all my travels have not experienced worse hospitality anywhere in the world. It’s sad because it’s a decent place in a good location and if it were properly managed the place would do a killing, instead you have a total buffoon managing it that’s got everyone wound so tight that they are screaming at you from across the lobby over other guests for some minor perceived infraction or threatening to call the police on you for trying to retrieve a Amazon package from the front desk. Seriously stay away, you’ve been warned. Walt, semantics would be calling you anything other than totally inept and bald. "
"Our room was clean and spacious. The staff was awesome!! Summer was our FAVORITE in the bar!!!! Breakfast was a perfect mix of hot and cold food options, with eggs that actually looked like eggs!!! :-) Location was perfect, just a short walk to the waterfront. (My negatives - which would not discourage me from going back AT ALL, I would have liked a little table and chairs for a couple to sit at based on the amount of extra/empty space in the room & the closet was TINY compared to the room space. I am not a fan of the no door showers because the floor always gets wet and there is no carpet in the room so floors were a little cold and potentially slippery) "
"The rooms have balconies with ocean views, which is really the point. The hotel stays clean and has a great outdoor pool and bar. The indoor jacuzzi was not super clean."
