Beautiful and roomy two bed, two bath cabin nestled in the Kiamichi Mountains

The Ridge Trail Cabin is located in the rural Kiamichi Mountains in Southeast Oklahoma. The view from this cabin includes beautiful sunsets, colorful fall foliage (during season), and breathtaking mountain contours. It is equipped with all the essentials that make your stay as comfortable as being at home.

You will have an outdoor grill, propane stove top and oven, toaster, crock pot, various pots and pans and dishes and eating utensils. You just need to decide what meals you want to make! With two bedrooms that have queen size pillow top mattress, a large upstairs couch, and a queen size pull out couch downstairs you can plan a romantic escape or a fun trip with family and friends! There are two bathrooms with one being a standing shower en suite and the other a tub shower that is just down the hall.

This cabin is one of three cabins that are close in proximity yet far enough away to still be private. We welcome group stays in all three cabins and offer a group rate discount! Bring everyone!

Catch up on movies you haven’t seen or play some games in the cozy upstairs loft. Adventurous kids (or adults who are like kids!)? See if you can find the secret hideaway door! You can grab a seat around the fire place, soak in the sunset from a chair on one of the decks, or take a walk if you need to stretch your legs. Get your camera ready to capture the memories as you drive in to stay at the Ridge Trail Cabin!

Amazing stay!

We had such a good stay, the cabin is beautifully situated with views that never get old. It’s quiet and secluded, it was so nice to have some space to ourselves. The interior was clean and well organized. There were deer in the woods to watch and we had a wonderful time.

Beautiful views and very quiet. We had zero cell service but we had brought a satellite internet connection with us. Cabin is beautiful. Be sure to bring food and drinks as it’s quite remote. Kitchen is well equipped- but remember to bring your coffee/tea!

Perfect getaway!

Came here for a little family getaway after a busy season of life. This cabin was perfect. Secluded and quiet. The home itself was beautiful & comfortable and the view from the porch was spectacular! We loved every minute here.

Hands down best VRBO experience ever! Spent the weekend at this cabin with my buddies for a chill getaway and couldn’t be more pleased. The cabin was clean and well maintained, the scenic view/location was beautiful, and the the communication with the property manager was quick and pleasant! We will definitely be back! Cheers!

Absolutely beautiful

The cabin was very remote but worth the drive. It’s not only beautiful on the inside but the views are spectacular. Comfortable beds, pillows, couch’s, and the fireplace is amazing. They had games and dvds to watch when it was raining and we weren’t able to go out and enjoy. Plenty of pots and pans to cook with and it was extremely clean. We will definitely be back.

A Peaceful Escape in the Kiamichi Mountains

This was my second stay at Ridge Trail Cabin, and it was just as magical as the first—this time for a girls’ weekend with my 4 sisters. The cabin is tucked away in the secluded beauty of the Kiamichi Mountains, offering crisp mornings, incredible sunsets, and refreshingly cool evenings—especially in May. The dark night sky was perfect for stargazing.With no Wi-Fi and barely any cell service, it was the ideal setting to unplug, catch up, and truly recharge - we came prepared. We enjoyed scenic drives, nearby hiking trails, and plenty of quality time together.If you're looking for a peaceful getaway to reconnect with nature—and each other—this is the perfect place. I’ll definitely be back again.

Quiet, peaceful, very relaxing

The cabin is fantastic. It is clean and well kept. All that you need, other than food, is already there. The views and scenery are exactly what we were looking for. It’s so quiet and peaceful. Plus the fur kiddos love it as well. Cant say we have ever been at a pet friendly accommodation this nice. Thank y’all for such a great lodging

It's kind of remote. The stars are bright, the rain on the metal roof just mesmerizing, few people in the area. Super relaxing, caught up on reading, writing, and no emails [that was a personal] i could check my emails...

The view from the cabin is stunning. Loved the seclusion and quiet. Enjoyed many hikes in the area. The cabin is in an excellent location - so close to hiking and scenic drives. The cabin has all of the necessities, was clean and comfortable. Great place to unplug. We did have cell reception. The cabin, the area, the people all exceeded expectations. We hope to return.

Beautiful View

The view from this cabin was spectacular. Worth the hour drive back and forth to Broken Bow. Family enjoyed it! Kiddo couldnt wait to get back every evening in time to see the sunset. If you have any infants/toddlers just be sure to bring some kind of pack and play.

The property was just as described and nothing short of wonderful. It is remote, so be prepared with your food, but it was exactly what we wanted. We enjoyed several days of relaxing, unwinding, marathon card games, and the family time we needed. It was cold enough that our time on the porches was limited, and we enjoyed the sunsets from indoors. We'll be back when it's warmer!

Beautiful cabin, cozy yet very spacious. Amazing view from the living/dining area's window wall and the deck. Quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the large dining table for meals, games and reading. Having the TV in the loft (with cozy couches) allows for people to enjoy various activities without being on top of one another. Loved the Crystal Chandelier cafe in Talihina and the Curiosities shop with fun stuff for all ages.

Wonderful couples getaway

We chose the cabin for the location and views and it did not disappoint. Would definitely recommend. It was a great trip to wind down and just get away from everything. We had no WiFi or phone service, but had plenty to do with puzzles and games we brought. Quiet and secluded. Only minor issues, nothing that would deter us from coming back. There was no porch swing as shown and we aren’t used to beds that don’t have a headboard. Neither of those things takes away from the views, the quiet, the space just to relax. Recommend you bring your binoculars for nature.
