Very nice and comfortable stay for our trip to Washington DC and Baltimore. We enjoyed all the little touches and thoughtful extras. Could not have asked for anything more!
Very clean, well appointed home, was a great place to stay for a few days while we explored the area. Nice outdoor space to relax and the board games and arcade game were fun for the kids.
We had such a great time here. It's out of the way, yet convenient to local parks and historical attractions. The accomadations are neat and well-appointed. The hosts were accomadating and responsive to any and all needs. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.
Love this place! Clean, off the road a little, quiet area. She definitely made a smaller house feel like there’s a bit of room! Comfy king bed in one room (the other room had a queen bed which my son slept on). Nice size comfortable couch for the living room.
I highly recommend this property! The location is great, and extremely tranquil. The home itself is fantastic - very comfortable seating, both inside and out, and the beds are wonderful. We all slept so well! I will definitely stay here again when we return to the area.
Perfect location while visiting family for the New Year Holiday
Thank you for sharing your newly renovated, quaint house. With its location close to both Hagerstown and Frederick, it worked out perfectly for us visiting family in the area. We especially enjoyed the holiday decorations and the treats found in the kitchen.
We loved the property, it was wonderful. We loved sitting on the porch. The house looked like it was new, even though it was not. The owner was very personable and kind. We will definitely be back!
Hollow Hideaway was a lovely place to come back to after a long day of hiking. Very clean, great ammenities. Cell service is a little sketchy, but overall a 5 star stay.
Our stay was absolutely amazing! It felt like the perfect blend of home comfort and hotel luxury. The house was cozy, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our staycation. The entire process, from booking to check-out, was smooth and hassle-free. My family had a wonderful time!
The location was perfect for our weekend trip. The house was so perfectly decorated and furnished with all amenities necessary for a relaxing time. Thank you for the opportunity to stay here. Country living is best!!
This was the perfect location for a visit to the area. Tucked away just enough without feeling totally isolated. Near a few cute towns for food and dinning, as well as plenty of historical sites. Loved the layout and atmosphere. Felt very comfortable and homey. Especially appreciated all the little touches (snacks, toiletries, extra towels, etc.). Overall wonderful stay.
A delightful place to stay and connect with friends. The host was very communicative from the time we booked our house till the time we left. Very clean, comfortable beds and nicely decorated. We loved the outdoor fire ring. We highly recommend this place!
We enjoyed our weekend in this very comfortable, well appointed home. We love a king size bed with quality sheets! The family room couch was great for lounging. We look forward to coming back!
What a perfect place to stay! We enjoyed the home, location and all the amenities. Wonderful communication from the host. A great place to enjoy a cool fall evening under the stars ⭐️ and around the fire pit with family. You will not regret this booking if you are looking for country perfection.
Suzanne is a great host. The property was clean and comfortable. Any concerns were handled promptly. Their automotive/advertising collection is very interesting. Will stay here again when traveling to the the area.
Suzanne was a wonderful host. The house was immaculate, complete with a snack and coffee station. Plenty of fresh towels and soft sheets. Comfortable stay for 4 adults. We enjoyed the proximity to hiking and historic Downtown Frederick. Perfect for a quiet getaway.
The unit was recently renovated and was clean and comfortable. Perfect for our family of 3 - board games, comfortable couch, well stocked kitchen, good internet, old school “pac man” machine, charcoal grill, large grassy area to run around. The resident dogs and host were friendly and helpful. The area is a great for getting out of the city - tasty farm stands and proximity to Cunningham falls state park for swimming. There is spotty cell service in the area, make sure to mark destinations on your phone maps before heading out or while at the house.
We really liked this place! It’s centrally located to all of the different hiking trails and towns we visited. The house is cozy and well appointed-especially for those who want to cook their own meals. The bathroom is very high end with built in washer/dryer (although the height challenged may need a step stool to reach the dryer, but not a problem ;)The bird quantities and variety were nice to observe and listen to while enjoying coffee/wine in the morning/evening. We really felt at home when we were there before and after all of our fun outdoor activities. We highly recommend staying here, as we will when we return to the area for future stays.
Lovely cottage under the stars. Outfitted with all the modern amenities and the world's most comfortable beds and couch. And, then...the best surprise... an old-school Atari game table complete with Ms. Pacman! Absolutely lovely for a couple's retreat or a family getaway. I can imagine it would be extra lovely (if a little remote) at Christmas time.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The home was spotless, and so well appointed. I am big on cleanliness, and this house was pristine. The living room was so comfy, and the front porch was a nice place to relax and see the stars. We are from Chicago, and normally stay with relatives when visiting the area. It was great to visit family, and then come back to this little oasis. In addition the home is right by the Appalachian Trail. We will definitely be back.
The home was very nicely decorated, extremely clean and very accommodating. The house has everything you could possibly need. The attention to details and cleanliness was very impressive. Everything worked properly, the bed was so comfortable and we had plenty of blankets and pillows. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!
This house is so super cozy and clean! The host was super nice and accommodating. There was coffee and a snack bar that came in very handy and was much appreciated. We were in town for the annual colorfest as vendors and had very long busy days. It was so nice to come back to such a relaxing home. Being 2 single women we felt very safe and the area was very quiet. We will definitely be staying here again.
