"There are no security lights or motion lights, we had to use our flashlights and car lights in order to see. There are no road signs or numbers on the house and we didn't know I'd we were at the right place. It needs a street sign with the name of the cabin or the house number. The place needs to be sprayed for ants and there was clothing left under one of the beds and in the washing machine. The lighting and no numbers on the house are a problem. It's pitch black and we arrived around 930 or 10 pm. Vrbo gave us the wrong code to get in so we had to contact the owner and he was fantastic, very nice"

"We had a great time and the house is great! It is so peaceful and quiet really beautiful location. The house worked great for us. I do want to mention it does have a washer and dryer and the listing doesn't mention it and when I messaged to confirm it did not the management company responded that it did not have a washer and dryer but it actually does have them. They are in the basement so you may want to update the listing with that information. Jennifer was our local contact and she was super responsive when we had questions. We would totally stay here again. Thank you!"

"Outstanding experience, cabin is very relaxing and a lot to keep you, your family or friends entertained! Movie room, pool table, air hockey in the basement. Mid level is a beautiful living room, kitchen, dining area and master bedroom. Upstairs has 2 nice bedrooms and a loft hang out area. Great views and front and back porch areas. Highly recommend this cabin for bigger gatherings due to its size. Parking is single file in the driveway but not a big deal."

"Overall our group had a wonderful weekend here! It is a very cool house in a nice secluded location and the living room and hot tub areas were especially awesome for all hanging out as a group. The host was very communicative prior to our stay and we had no issues getting into the house or checking out. Roughly a 30 minute drive to the Snowshoe ski area.A couple notes for things that could be improved upon in the future:1) The listing is misleading - the house cannot sleep anywhere close to 16 people. There are three total beds (all queen or king) so if you’re being generous and put two to a bed (which is not always feasible unless traveling with couples, which we weren’t), it can comfortably sleep 6 people in a bed. There was a pullout couch bed but with no mattress on it (?), so the majority of our 11 person group had to sleep on couches or air mattresses (air mattresses were available at the house). Not the end of the world, but worth noting! 2) The house was a bit dirty upon arrival - sticky kitchen table and counter, empty beer cans around the hot tub, hair on the bathroom floors, etc. and could use some upkeep and renovations, as there were a few leak spots on the ceilings, stains on the carpets, and the entire door was missing for one of the bedrooms, which meant zero privacy for the person who slept there.It was still a fantastic weekend and a fun getaway, and I do recommend the house, just with the caveats above!"

"Ok, this place is a value rental. If you want fancy, move on. But if you want a place to lay your head after skiing that is the best price around, this is your place. Cons: it is above a large convenience store/ gas station so you'll hear their music clearly through the floor (that wasn't fun) and the general noise of the store and it smells a bit because it is an old place. Pros: the price, close to the mountain for skiing, close to the Ski Barn for ski rentals, good well-stocked convenience store right under you if you need something, comfortable beds, well-stocked kitchen, responsive host, easy check in, comfortable living room, deck for skis and boots.. So this place is a bit unorthodox when you park behind a gas station and walk in to very outdated furnishings, but the price is right, the location is great, the host is responsive and the bed are good. It won't be for everyone but it was great for our family. "
