The rooms were clean and comfortable. We had two rooms-one on the second floor with views and one two levels below ground level that opened up to a parking area. The ceilings were low in this room and it was at the end of the hall next to an outdoor entrance. We heard people using that door during the night. The staff was very nice. The location was very good.

Unfortunately, the worst stay I’ve ever had. The shower was mouldy and covered in grime. When I asked for it to be cleaned, so much bleach was used that I couldn’t stay in my room and had to leave the window and door open to air it out. When I requested a room change, staff were awkward and refused, offering room spray instead!
This is the most expensive accommodation I’ve ever paid for, yet the worst experience. There are much better places to stay in Edinburgh. Unfortunately, our usual hotel was fully booked due to this being a last-minute trip. Wouldn’t recommend.

We had a great three night stay at this property! We loved all the room to spread out and the location a little bit away from the main tourist center, but still very walkable to all the Edinburgh attractions with good restaurants and access to public transportation steps away. We didn't get to use the kitchen much, but it as very well equipped and we really appreciated the washer/dryer in our suite. We'd be very happy to stay here again on a return trip to the city.
