"The apartment is amazing with fantastic views across the estuary. Warning though, the parking space is very dificult to maneuver into, my Toyota Corolla barely made it, by backing in through the entrance, anything bigger you will struggle. "We have stayed at Astor house before so we came back to the same apartment. They had upgraded the sofas to recliners which was a nice surprise. The apartment itself is easy to get to clean and Torquay town centre is a short walk away. It has a great view over the beach side of Torquay and the area is quiet. The place is clean and well maintained and the host kindly provided some biscuits and milk. I would highly recommend this place."

"The advert on the hotels.com website did not match the facts of the stay. The advert states free parking it was not it cost me £30 for the stay. We spoke to the owner who stated that the advert was not placed by him. It was the fault of hotels.com as he does not use them you get your info from a 3rd party All I know is that I am £30 out of pocket. The stay was good as I can not blame hotels.com for all the rain."

It's an older property, a little worn around the edges, and the WiFi only works in the reception area, but it's made up for by the friendly staff, amazing breakfast, and comfortable room. There is a lift, which is a rarity for this type of property, so it's a bit more accessible for less abled guests. Would highly recommend!"
