"A quick over night visit, all went v smoothly. The guest rooms are in a different block from the bar so removed from any possible noise etc. The heat was already on so it was cosy as I arrived. The Guinness was great and even though I returned late in the evening the bar staff were v accommodating."
Dunboyne Castle Hotel & Spa

"Booked for a quick trip over to Ireland to visit a relative who lives nearby so the hotel was well located for what we were looking for. The hotel is set in landscaped grounds and is impressive when you drive in. Reception is nice and the staff most helpful. The rooms are large (executive twin) with a large single beds and sizeable bathroom with separate bath and walk in shower. Robes and slippers are a nice touch. The fixtures are a little dated but worked fine, furniture is quite badly scuffed in places but the price of the room was reasonable. Main disappointment were the false eyelashes on the carpet that stuck to our shoes, the cleaners may have struggled to spot them or the hoover struggled with the glue hence the lower score for cleanliness. Overall we would stay again for the price, location and friendly staff."

"We fly in/out of Dublin several times a year. We like this property because although it is only about 10-15 mins from the airport, it feels like you are really in the country. So there is not that cramped and hassled feeling with so many of the airport hotels near DUB - tight parking, shuttle buses, airport noise etc. Roganstown Country House Hotel feels a bit like a respite. That being said, they could invest a little in the interior of the hotel. While our room was clean and comfortable, the bathroom had a signs of mold, and there were no shampoo/conditioner/soap etc. except for the one soap dispenser in the shower. It is so nice that so many hotels are now installing the shampoo/conditioner dispensers in the showers and it would be great to see that here too. Fish and chips in the bar/restaurant was quite good; burger was ok. We'll stay there again most likely just for the space and feeling of being in the country."

"Room was comfortable and staff was friendly. Parking is in garage and is very tight fitting spots. Would be difficult to drive in ramp with a larger vehicle! Breakfast started at 7AM which worked very well for us."
