"Most excellent breakfast buffet ever."

"We enjoyed the beautiful historic hotel, with amazing views of the water! The rooms were comfortable, although we were there when it was very warm, and would have liked to have some fans. The staff did a nice job accommodating our request for rooms next door to each other. Amazing breakfast, nice swimming pool, wonderful location… We would definitely stay there again!"

"Although the staff was courteous and friendly, our overall experience at the lodge was poor. The accommodation is way over priced for what it really is, a hostel. Guests have to make their own bed. A meal is offered for dinner (also expensive), but there are no choices as you would have in a restaurant. The pool was not functional. Direct contact with the property via email or phone prior to our arrival was impossible despite many attempts by us and by Expedia. If arriving by train, Travellers...

"If you have a stopover in Voss at any point, Store Ringheim is the place to stay. Even though we only spent one night on our 10 day trip, this was by far our favorite accommodation. We got in at Voss Station and heard it was quite a hike to get up, so we reached out and they had someone pick us up and drop us back off in the shuttle with our luggage - so easy and convenient.
