"The villa is amazing. All amenities included, except WiFi. There is an odd request for £50 for this after we booked. The WiFi doesn’t reach upstairs. The pool and gardens are regularly maintained and are beautiful. The view is stunning. It’s an out of the way location, so peaceful but you need a car. Many beaches a short drive away. The villa is well managed and any requests were dealt with immediately. Definitely recommend a stay here for a peaceful holiday."

"Adonis was a gracious host, and we especially enjoyed talkig with Nikki, who was part of the staff. Our apartment was spacious, and had a nice balcony with a nice city view that also looked out on the Fortezza. Adonis oriented us to the neighborhood with suggestions and a map. We had kitchen facilities that were very convenient and our bed and air conditioning made our sleep very comfortable. We were even able to easily extend our stay on short notice. We definitely recommend Palazzo Vecchio!"

"A lovely villa in a peaceful tranquil retreat. Wonderful views of the coast and surrounding hills. Watch the Eagles soaring above. Very peaceful you can listen to the wildlife around you. The nearest Taverna is just over a kilometer away but you are unlikely to encounter a car walking there. Beautiful lake nearby to see the fresh water turtles."

"This is such a beautiful spot - peaceful, great view, 10 minutes from the beach and such a comfortable well appointed apartment. The terrace and garden were delightful too and we looked forward to coming back every day. Patrick was a very helpful and attentive host. He met us when we arrived to give detailed directions. "Summer Dream was the best hotel we could ask for. It was extremely modern, great view, and the town of Rethymno has a wonderful downtown area. If you go, I recommend Achinos, I believe it is spelled. The best food we had in Greece. Summer dream is also located next to many markets including SKYNKA, which is walking distance. I would absolutely recommend staying here. It was the best part of our trip in Crete. "

"Highly recommend this lovely family run hotel in a quiet location outside rethymno. Beach is down the road. The entire staff/family was warm, welcoming and professional. All our needs were addressed with joy and compassion. The hosts offered detailed advice about all the great places to visit. My husband had a health issue and we were pointed to the best clinic. "Overall loved the place. There were a few niggles like the garden lights being intentionally turned off detracting from the atmosphere, penny-pinching in the extreme. Not being able to leave the washing machine or dishwasher on when going out because the electricity fob was locked to the door key, very patronising, especially considering the money paid for rental.the location was excellent and the outside ameneties great. We chose to go with the all inclusive option and the room with a private pool for our stay. The only negative about our experience was that it was not a true all inclusive experience.
