"We enjoy rambling around ruins & beaches & tavernas -then returning to a comfortable abode. Hiona Holiday Hotel met this prefrence. A clean, uncomplicated small hotel with friendly staff/owners. Our room was one of the smaller ones but still large enough to relax in as well as the balcony. There are larger rooms and larger balcony options. Well maintained pool area and breakfast room. "Great for a weeks’ stay, centrally located and convenient. With some upgrades (investing in newer, softer pillows and better mattresses) this could easily become an incredible small hotel. Breakfast is provided and is basic (for those who commented), but it has a great selection to keep you full until lunch. Room is spotless and cleaned daily, and staff is lovely. Overall, a nice experience and would probably stay again. "

"Very disappointing stay. This photos show a pleasant hotel with sea views. What we had was a view of the sea with a very ugly old half built building obscuring the view. The receptionist was surly, abrupt and generally unpleasant. No welcoming smile, I felt like we were a burden. The room was full of mosquitos. The bed was a bit like sleeping on a blanket covered rock and only 2 pillows. Breakfast the first morning... my husband is a diabetic and is not able to eat any of the cakes and...

"Gorgeous location with lots of different places for people at the hotel to spread out and enjoy. Breakfast options were plentiful and a good quality. Rooms were kept clean and were very comfortable and spacious. Staff were always friendly and accommodating. The spa services were of very high quality. Towels and bedding were always promptly refreshed. We dined mostly for dinner at Le bouboulisse as we did not particularly enjoy the dinner food quality in bacchaus. Whilst the gym facilities were sufficient, the equipment could use modernising or being looked after as the treadmills are out of calibration. Also needed some wipes for the equipment after use. Overall, thoroughly enjoyed our stay! "
