Couples retreat

Room is clean and well equipped for 2 people. Microwave , toaster and coffee for breakfast. We enjoy our stays at Kramers corner and will come again.

Wonderful stay in. Cozy settting

We’ve stayed at Kramers corner several times and are always so pleased with our visit. The “ private suite “ has everything a couple needs for a weeklong stay. The room is very clean and well equipped with basics, including coffee and tea, and personal items. Will definitely book again

What delight to stay at Kramer's Korner! A friendly welcome and a really comfortable retreat. Very well equipped, very comfortable and very clean, Five Stars! Sorry we could not stay longer to enjoy the amenities of BBR. Thank you for a comfortable stay! The setting in the piney woods could not be matched anywhere!

Family Reunion

We were attending a family reunion at nearby Camp Sherman. We spent most of the days at the family reunion and did not need anything too fancy, a bed, WiFi, privacy! The price and the suite were perfect, along with the location. Thank you Mary Jo.

Quiet setting , lovely efficiency

The oversized bedroom holds a comfortable king bed with good quality linens. The “ table for two” was perfect for our morning coffee before we joined our larger family staying at a large house together. This property is perfect for a couple who are spending most of their time outside enjoying all BB has to offer.

FANTASTIC place!

We thoroughly enjoyed a brief stay here and cannot say enough about Black Butte Ranch and this place. The views around the ranch are amazing with snow capped peaks, and there are so many things to do here you will be busy with whatever you favorite activities are! We used the outdoor hot tub, pool, golfed at Glaze Meadow course and enjoyed an amazing meal at Lodge. Wish we had a whole week to take advantage of the bike and hike trails, pickle ball courts and horseback riding. Will definitely come back. The owner greeted us at the house and our suite was just right with everything you need. It's a special place and we will be back!

Cozy, clean little apartment

We enjoyed our stay in this large bedroom plus bathroom outfitted with everything we needed for simple food preparation like heating soup and making sandwiches. The hosts are careful to give the guests privacy and provide a separate side entrance through the laundry room. There’s also a nice little patio right off the hallway to the room. Black Butte Ranch is very quiet at night. Checkin was a little more complicated than your average VRBO because you have to check in at the Ranch Welcome Center before 6pm before heading to the rental. But once checked in it was simple to get in and out of the Black Butte Ranch gate for the rest of our stay. This is personal preference, but could be helpful for other partnered guests: the king bed is comfortable and plush but it’s the type of mattress that’s a bit bouncy and transfers movements - challenging if you’re light sleepers. Overall a pleasant stay in a pleasant location!

Central Oregon R&R

Chris met us at the door with a welcoming smile. The cottage suite was roomy, light, and very clean. We enjoyed watching birds at the window feeders, and even caught sight of deer on two occasions. There were some nice amenities: tea, coffee, personal care items, and a basket full of hiking books. We enjoyed a 3.6 mile walk around Suttle Lake. The only challenge was locating the cottage, as the roads are crazily laid out. The bicycle trails are numerous and smooth—totally paved! We were newcomers to the ranch, so navigating our way around was a learning experience. It would be helpful to know when searching for accommodations through Vrbo that Kramer’s Korner guests have full use of the amenities at Black Butte Ranch, but must pay $9.00 per adult per day. We had an overall very relaxing stay. Thanks!

Great stay for a vacation with friends!

We really enjoyed and appreciated Mary Jo’s hospitality and nicely appointed private suite to stay at. The room was large, bed was very comfortable, nice towels and everything you need. The ranch has so many activities with more nearby. Would highly recommend for a getaway for 2 people.

Family get away

We booked Kramers corner so we could be close to family during that had previously booked a home. We had a good experience, room was clean with all the amenities we needed. It was equivalent size of having a hotel room. We were not there much, did not use the washer and dryer. They have a bird feeder outside the private suite window connected to small outside patio. We thought it was strange that they filled it on Saturday one day before we left when it was only half empty as they could see inside our room. Keep blinds closed when you leave and enjoy all the amenities of black butte as it is beautiful with trails, golfing, spa and swimming.

Wedding weekend at Black Butte
