Excellent Sirmione Hotel

Very friendly and helpful owners and staff. Great breakfast, comfortable room, free parking. wonderful clean pool with plenty of loungers, and easy access to old town by bus or on foot. We had an excellent 3 night stop on our 4 week road trip.

Super hotel in Sirmione

We loved our 4 nights in Sirmione at Hotel Gardenia. Cosy hotel, nice big rooms, friendly, smiling and attentive service from all staff, easy parking and nice pool with enough sun loungers for everybody. We would love to come back.

We had a family suite which was spacious, clean and well decorated. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had plenty choice and food was really nice, if anything ran out you just had to ask for more and it got brought out. Pool area was really pretty and enough beds and shades. Would recommend.

A great place for summer relaxation

We had a very pleasant stay for five nights. The owner and all other staff members were very friendly, and the room was in a good condition. It was quite small, but had a small terrace, a mini fridge, and a well-functioning air conditioner. The breakfast buffet had a variety of stuff, ranging from fresh veggies/fruits to sweets. The swimming pool was also great and spacious.

The communication before arrival was good, and upon check-in, Sonia was really helpful and informative. The parking on site is really useful. The location is about 10 minutes drive away from the old centre of Sirmione and the ferry, so easy to access. But there are a selection of good restaurants, gelaterias and supermarkets near the hotel, so actually it was nice to be away from the busy centre! Pool was mostly quite and enjoyable. Overall, staff were very helpful and polite!

Good location, just a short drive to Sirmione. There is free parking at the hotel, so this was great. If you drive to Sirmione, there are parking lots just outside the historic center. The breakfast was very good. We arrived around 9pm and the hotel was full and even though our room was prepaid they gave it to someone else. So, we were accommodated in another room, much bigger, two bedrooms, but very simple, not as comfortable as the one I booked. I didn’t think this was right, but as it was just for one night it was okay. Very simple hotel.

We have just arrived home from 10 nights staying at the Hotel Gardenia. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The town a few minutes walk away had plenty of restaurants and cafe. You are also near the lake. It's very hard to get a taxi and the bus service (which was great and we used it every day) was every hour and not usually on time. So planning trips around the area was harder than we thought. But as Sirmione is central we were able to visit Verona, Milan and Venice. Also the theme parks Gardaland and Movieland are nearby. We would definitely recommend this hotel. Lovely pool and breakfast was delicious. Just no evening meals or drinks available in the hotel.

We arrived as a family of six (4 kids under 10) and the facilities were clean and as expected. We knew we would not be able to use the pool due to it being out of season. The reception staff led us to our room. The rooms we cleaned daily and the daily breakfast was excellent. We would stay here again perhaps when warmed. Very close to nice places to eat and not far from the tourist attractions.
