I love the prompt replies from the front desk. I love the easy check in and check out process and clear instructions on how to do so. There are brand new upgrades the rooms are remodeled. And the parking lot was plowed nicely from all the snow we just had. I am a huge hotel reviewer on Google and I will be leaving a great review and recommendations to stay here! Thank you!

I had a wonderful stay at The Trail Inn in Grantsburg. The room was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully updated, and the atmosphere felt welcoming from the moment I arrived. The contactless check-in was fast and perfect, and the biggest advantage was that I didn’t have to stand in any queue—everything was smooth and effortless. The location is great—quiet and peaceful, yet close to trails and local attractions, making it ideal for both relaxing and exploring. The property well-maintained. Fast WiFi. Overall, The Trail Inn exceeded my expectations. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Grantsburg.

Had a wonderful stay at the Trail Inn! Looks like everything has been recently remodeled with the new ownership and looks very nice! The front desk staff was super helpful, especially when I realized I forgot my toothbrush. They directed me to the courtesy cabinet where they keep a stock of them, along with a bunch of other helpful amenities. The beds were comfy, the Roku TV was super nice. No boring, generic channels filled with commercials, I got to log into my netflix and watch my comfort shows. The room was also super clean and well stocked. I had coffee for the morning, a mini fridge for my snacks, and plenty of towels. And that rainfall showerhead is soooo nice! I need one for at home! Overall, fantastic stay, great staff, great experience, great price. Would definitely stay again!

The faucet needs to be replaced The shower wrap around needs replacing. Shower head is not adjustable so the water went over my head and I had a difficult time taking a shower Only saw a staff member on Saturday Not a fan of having to text staff for service I prefer a more personal touch instead of not seeing a staff person Room was clean some upgrades were made since we stayed there 5 years ago

The room was dirty, cob webs in the corners and mens beard hair all over the sink, long hairs all over the bathroom and bed. Floors were sticky. For the price i expected better, not perfect, but better.
