"Right from opening the door, we were welcomed by Richard and had a comfortable cute room.. we did have twin beds but we had had a long drive from Skye with many stops so it was welcome rest. The facility had a lot of space that was available to use and many interesting books and travel magazines to use for planning and learning purposes.
Fiona made wonderful meals of local treats and I even tried a couple of Highland scotch from a well- stocked bar.
I enjoyed the sites around very much! The Drumbeg loop was well-worth the extra time it took and weathering the storm at the Drumbeg Hotel was cosy and felt safe."
Torran Cottage - The Highland Cottage with a Piano
8/10 Good
"The holiday cottage is well equiped, everthing is really fine. But take into consideration that the location is only to reach via single track road through rocky mountains."
"Lovely little stay while doing the NC500! Can’t recommend this place enough, so full of character and charm. Great facilities, lots of games, CD’s, books and small goodies in the kitchen. Didn’t need to use the log burner but I can imagine how lovely this would be in the colder months. Place was lovely and clean with a great shower too. The host is great, popped in to say hi and give recommendations too! Was just round the corner if we needed anything, offered more logs, laundry facilities etc! Would definitely stay again!"
Holiday Let In Stunning Location, Great For Families And Outdoor Enthusiasts
8/10 Good
"Stoer Villa has an excellent location particularly for walkers and fishing, Do not be put off by its proximity to the NC 500 - simply not an issue limited traffic and just not aware of it inside. Kitchen is well fitted with all conveniences. Very good showers in the kitchen area and the en-suite upstairs. Double bed was comfortable and twin beds OK. Internet was weak."
"Perfect location, heating took a while to warm the pod, shower and bath both great.
The sign is missing for parking so not obvious where you should park. Other than that it was almost a 5 out of 5! "
"Lovely, clean and well appointed in a super location. Having good weather we had the joy of evening drinks on the veranda and later with clear skys star watching through the large velux windows made it extra special."
