Carpet needs to be replaced

Les gens étaient bien aimables. Par contre, la propreté laissait à désirer (lorsque nous sommes arrivés, les planchers n'avaient visiblement pas été faits). Il y avait des déchets dans la piscine extérieure. L'établissement au complet aurait besoin d'un peu d'amour...

Our family trip to Niagara Falls on July 27, 2026, was ruined because of this hotel. As soon as we entered our room, we discovered a major water leak. To make matters worse, we also found a bug inside the toilet, which immediately raised concerns about the cleanliness and condition of the room. Instead of enjoying our evening, we spent hours going back and forth with the front desk trying to find a solution. The hotel could not provide a replacement room of the same standard, and because we booked through Expedia, we were told the hotel could not issue a refund. We didn't finally get settled into another room until around 10:30 PM. By then, most attractions and restaurants were already closed, and even the hotel's own amenities were no longer available. We had no choice but to go to sleep and leave the next morning, losing the evening we had planned to enjoy in Niagara Falls. The most disappointing part was the manager's response. Rather than offering fair compensation or an equivalent replacement, the only solution offered was a 50% discount on an additional night. That did nothing to make up for the lost time, stress, and ruined family experience. This situation was handled very poorly. I expected much better customer service, cleanliness, and accountability from Best Western.
