Upgrade was good. Need medium stiff pillows. Room floor needs periodic mobbing although it looks clean. Need two chairs for two people. Staff at reception desk should answer telephone calls (didn’t answer my phone call to book a taxi) The ramp is too steep must have handrail when pulling a large suitcase.

Room was nice & clean. Bathroom was also clean. There's an Indian restaurant downstairs. On our floor was a water station 🚉 which was excellent. Well located & close to major shops & districts. Taxis run past the hotel. 2 min walk to Mustafa Centre which is open 24hrs. So many shops across the roads and around the hotels.

hotel is located very conveniently in Little India. very close to Mustafa and eateries. Room is decent size and clean. Price not too bad considering how expensive Singapore is.

The staff were very friendly and courteous but the room was very basic. It comes back to, you get what you pay for. There was a safe, but you could pick it up and walk away with it. We didn't have hot water, it was barely Luke warm, but this was not a problem for us. The room had air conditioning which is necessary and the wifi was excellent.

the only thing was we had to sign to say we would not take food & drink into the Hotel we are on holiday and we were there for three weeks and we like snacks and a can of soft drink at a night time or through the day when relaxing in the room so that was a bit of a downer. i can understand the not taking Durian into the Hotel that fruit is banned from most places in Singapore.

Hygiene: There were cockroaches in the room—and not just one. This is completely unacceptable. Check-in: Despite informing the hotel multiple times in advance about our late-night arrival, there was a "Back in 10 minutes" sign at the front desk when we arrived. We were exhausted from our flight and just wanted to rest, so the poor reception was very frustrating. Housekeeping: We were given only one large bath towel per person. Even though we requested fresh towels daily, they were only replaced ONCE during our 5-night stay. Laundry Facilities: Laundry costs 12 SGD, but there is only one home-use washer and one dryer for the entire property. The staff does not manage the laundry area at all. Other guests stopped the dryer while our clothes were still running and left our wet laundry sitting there. I would not recommend staying here.
