位置就在地鐵站Chinatown A出口寶塔街,附近生活機能購物方便.進出大門和房門都是密碼.共用的浴室廁所比想像中的小. 這次是自己一個人住兩人房,有遇到討人厭的中國大媽,晚上12點多才check-in又很吵,門鎖了還一直要開我房門,我去洗手20秒沒關門,他馬上探頭看我房間長得怎樣.有事嗎?

The hostel is near MRT. And very clean. If some guest has very heavy weight of baggage please be careful when up and down the hostel.

還可以 職員服務非常好

因為班機因素會深夜入住，事前在皇家青年旅社網頁的訊息數次聯絡。都得到十分友善迅速的回應。非常感謝他們幫忙。旅社的位置十分方便，只是共用浴室廁所有點髒～但以便宜的價錢還算ok。

No good experience, they made a mistake of my bed assignment and send a message asked I switch to other one immediately. However, I was traveling in other place. I cannot back to hotel within 2 hours. They should take their reponsibility to correct their mistake not do urgent request to customer.

Die Lage in Chinatown ist gut. Die MRT Station ist schnell erreichbar. In unserem Zimmer waren Betten für 20 Personen, die Doppelbetten waren aber fast immer mit 3-4 Personen belegt. Somit befanden sich locker 24 Menschen im Zimmer. Der Stauraum war nicht ausreichend. Die Flure sind eng und standen voller Gepäck. Es gab keinen Aufenthaltsraum. Lediglich 2 Sessel im engen Empfangsbereich konnten benutzt werden. Das Bad war ebenfalls sehr klein für die Anzahl der Gäste (2 Waschbecken, 2 Dusche, 2 WCs, alles in einem Raum nur mit Schiebetüren getrennt). Das Frühstück besteht aus einem 2 Dollar Voucher. Den kann man an 2 Stellen in Chinatown einlösen. Für Essen und Heißgetränk reicht der Betrag nicht aus.

Best Hostel Near Chinatown

I stayed in five hostels over the course of 11 days in Singapore and Royal Hostel was by far the best! Some reviews complained that they shut off the air con from 10-4, but they also opened up the room's windows and let the place air out while the (daily) housekeeping was done. This means it was the least smelly! No moist, sweaty clothing or towel funk like I had experienced in the other hostels. Privacy curtains, a plus. Cold filtered water dispenser and the shared bathroom is in stumbling distance from the door room(s). The staff was cheerful and helpful. There was enough room in the provided locker for my huge knapsack. Also, it is located on Smith St., which is also called "food street", which is a little wacky at night, but the room was surprising quiet! It's close to the MRT (two stops away from Harbour Front and Sentosa) and the famous Maxwell Hawker Centre. Breakfast coupons got me food or beverage at "Nanyang Old Coffee", which I already had been visiting for their delicious iced blended coffees. I extended my initial 2 day stay to 4.

非常推廌

整體感覺很乾淨，客服人員也都很友善，樓下就是熱鬧的美食街，很方便，離牛車水的A出口MRT(地鐵)也很近，相當方便，推推推!!^^

여자에겐 비추합니다

첫 호스텔 경험이었고, 여자입니다. 그래도 후기가 괜찮아서 눈 딱감고 싼 호스텔을 이렇게 골라 예약했는데요, 3박임에도 불구하고 2층침대를 주었습니다. 2층침대는 왜이리 불편한지.. 사다리 올라가고 내려갈때 가뜩이나 발아픈데 더 쑤셨습니다. 또 간격이 마지막에 너무 멀어서 넘어질뻔한적도 있었어요. 침대는 깔끔하고 벌래를 보진 못했지만, 여성에게 배려가 부족했던게 무엇보다도 샤워시설이었습니다. 너무 좁아서 씼고 갈아입기 불편했고, 여벌의 옷을 물로부터 안전하게 보관할 장소가 없어서 곤란했습니다. 여기에 수건까지 2달러 보증금 10달러 주고 하기엔 좀 너무하다.. 생각이 들었습니다. 어쨌든 남성에겐 편하고 좋은 호스텔인지 몰라도, 제겐 너무 불편한 경험이었고, 호스텔이 다 이런 식이라면 전 다음부턴 호텔을 선택하기로 했습니다. 또한 중국사람들 이른 아침부터 떠들고 불켜는거 진짜 진상.. 거기 일하는 사람들은 그래도 친절하대요ㅋ 하 여자에겐 진짜 비추비추 걍 가지 마세요^^

Pleasant stay!

Generally clean and orderly. The staff were accommodating and helpful, they didn't mind us leaving our bags at the designated area after we checked out. The best part was it was right at the Chinatown food street and so close to the MRT station. It was very easy to move around.

Beyond my expectation

The hostel is near the subway. The hostel is clean and quite. Before I went there, I saw some negative comments about the bathroom; however, I found that it's not that bad.

日本のカプセルホテルとは違い、ただ二段ベットが並べられているだけです。

タオル有料、変換アダプタ有料。更衣室がないためシャワーの中にビニール袋に入れた着替えを持っていき着替える必要があります。タオルもシャワーの中に持っていくのですがハッキリ言って濡れます。日本のカプセルホテルを想像していましたがバックパッカー用のホステルです。カーテンも下の段は途中までしかなく、上の段に至っては落下防止に仕切りが少しあるのみ。なぜこの宿が好評価なのか分かりません。宿のオーナーは親切でしたが、私は１日で宿を変えました。スーツケースを持っていくホステルではなく、完全なるバックパッカー用です。
