My new FAVORITE hotel. I will definitely be going back to Singapore & staying at the METT. Clean, modern with a historic classy aesthetic. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was the best meal we had. Hotel staff was phenomenal & highly attentive.

Such a sweet hotel which is in a gorgeous and peaceful spot but very conveniently located for all of Singapore. Staff are so helpful, great beds and enjoyed the pools. The gym is fantastic but not easy to find first time round! Thanks for a great stay.

Breakfast was delicious, though fruit selection might be improved. Rooms were excellent, pool was good for small children, though no slides or other play items installed. Superb location in Fort Canning Park close to MRT station and very central. Excellent staff. Spa currently undergoing renovations.

The decor and style of this hotel are exceptional. They’ve done a perfect job on the renovations being sympathetic to the buildings original history. Staff were also fantastic. Friendly & polite at all points. Nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely stay again.

Amazing stay at a fantastic hotel. Highly recommend. Rooms are stunning. Only downside was pool service - would benefit from having a pool service. You can order food and drinks at the bar, and they are delivered to you at the pool - but you can’t directly order from the pool. This is a shame as it’s the only downside. Otherwise an exceptional hotel in a fantastic location. I would find it hard to stay anywhere else if I visited Singapore again.

Superb hotel, not missing anything. The gym is the best I ever have visited in a hotel. It has all brand new Technogym equipment that any could request. I have been travelling for business and leisure the last 35 years so something to compare with. Breakfast wonderful included the service provided by the staff. The whole staff we met were kind, friendly and professional, thanks also to manager Robert, who arranged all issues we had plus more. Two minor notifications can be declared as a subject for improvement; no wc or shower at the gym and the bed was in my opinion to hard ( common issue in most hotels). We will definitely recommend METT Sgr for everybody who search for a cosy, luxury boutique hotel in historical building with a huge garden in the surrounds.

An excellent hotel with superb staff. Standout employees were the two doormen, Saeed who showed us to our room, Robert (one of the managers) and Germaine the cocktail mixologist. Our rooms were excellent and we loved the pools and the gym. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and very good quality. The hotel ambiance is something else, it’s really lovely. The hotel is a refurbished Fort Canning Hotel and has only been open since October ‘25. The only improvements needed are around the breakfast service which is disorganised and very slow. Both mornings we had to wait half an hour for coffees, which is unacceptable anywhere, let alone a 5* hotel. Also when food and juices ran out they weren’t replenished. In all honesty that was a minor niggle in what was a delightful stay. We really enjoyed our time at The Mett, thank you!

Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by all the staff. The check in was such a lovely experience. Our room was beautiful and everything was squeaky clean. The scents in The Mett and The Mett bathroom products are very memorable, it was pleasant and we will always be reminded of our lovely stay whenever we smell something similar. The gym was fantastic, it had all the equipment we needed and it was so incredibly clean too. The pool was also great, it looks shallow but it was actually really deep which was awesome. We didn't have any complaints and every interaction with staff was fantastic, especially the staff manned at the outside of the hotel. Always going above and beyond when we waited for drivers. It was very lovely conversing with them too. The Mett made our first trip to Singapore a memorable one and we are so excited to come back again on our next trip. Thank you to the staff!

Room was ok.. relatively small good amenities but the TV was not impressive with limited channels options as a substitute could eb smart tv to provide the flexibility but it wasnt smart tv. The room condition is new but require more effort cleaning.. the bath robs provided were not washed with obvious stain on one of them.. floor had hair all over which mean require more attention to details while cleaning . Bed is ok but i tried calling for pillow ebeded up calling ober 7 times with no one answering the call or re calling if the call was missed.. disappointed

The hotel is newly renovated that opened about 6 months ago.The overall decor is lovely, modern yet adhering to the British Classic vibe of the building. I think the hotel needs more time to work out the kinks. I had a junior suite, the main room was very small no space to even ope the luggage rack. Also there was no outlet it plug in the hairdryer in the bath or vanity area. The higgr ceilings are a plus, making the rooms seem open and larger. My mini suite faced the trail where people are walking by so rhe blinds need to stay shut. Thr lighting was hard to operate and the AC fan ran all the time and got the room too cool. But rhe decor was nice and the marble bathroom was beautiful. Staff helpfulness was uneven. The restaurant for breakfast after was in great need of help. The hot food order was mixed up 2 of the 3 mornings I was there and the service was quite slow.. Also, when i asked for water i saw the waiter pour a glass from the faucet, bottled water was only available for a fee, despite the high cost for the buffet breakfast. The gym was very well equipped. The setting is nice, within Fort Canning Park and the nearest subway stop is not too far away.. The METT has all the ingredients to be a great hotel, after more time and training.

Prachtige lokatie, mooie kamers met hoog plafond, lichte badkamer, op een uitzondering na zeer vriendelijk personeel. Grote gym. Padel courts. Fijn zwembad, niet diep maar goed om baantjes te zwemmen en een apart zwembad voor kinderen. Allemaal prima. Maar.. we boekten dit hotel omdat we een hotel met een spa zochten. De spa moet nog gebouwd worden terwijl Expedia dit wel vermeld. Dit had veel invloed op onze reis: we reisden namelijk met iemand op leeftijd die in het hotel naar de spa zou gaan terwijl wij de stad zouden bezoeken. Dat kon nu niet. Er is verder geen business centre en op de kamer zelf is geen desk/stoel om te werken. Business Centre moet nog gebouwd worden. Ontbijt is erg duur maar er is een uitstekende bakery in het park waar we steeds hebben ontbeten. Er is na 21:00 al geen keuken meer open dus niets te eten/ geen room service. Ook een snack (pinda of chips) bij een drankje niet mogelijk. Een glas wijn is 30 euro maar dat is op meer plekken in de stad zo. Voor ons belangrijkste probleem was de muziek. Overal staat vrij hard muziek aan - binnen en buiten: lobby, lounge, zwembad, bibliotheek, buiten voor het hotel, op de terrassen. Non stop 80er jaren pop en rock, luid, en op eindeloze herhaling. Bij elkaar: heel fijn verblijf maar hotel biedt (nog) geen 5 sterren ervaring.
