It may be an Ibis budget but facilities and customer service were excellent. From checking in to leaving, reception staff were always welcoming and helpful, very knowledgeable. My room as expected was small but perfectly adequate as a base, as this hotel is right in the centre of the city and only a short taxi ride from the airport. Perfect for a solo female traveller, couldn't have asked for more. I would definitely stay again. Thank you!

Good value for money in the middle of a big city

Room and bathroom were very clean but quite small. We didn't have a window but found the room comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Ok this hotel is very very basic and the room is super small. If you just want a quick sleep it’s ok. Bathroom is super small and it’s a shower head over the toilet. I left early as really uncomfortable. No window in room and aircon left us feeling not good when we woke up. Staff nice and reasonable clean. Defo would not stay again.

Clean and efficient room. Mine did not have a window, I didn't mind that. Very friendly and helpful staff. Proximity to Bugis MRT station is very convenient. Bus stops are even closer. Plenty of shopping and dining options in Bugis Junction, Suntec City, Marina Square, to name a few. Only a few minutes bus ride to Chinatown, Maxwell Food Center.

We have never stayed in a room before that was so small. Impossible to swing a cat in there! Nowhere to store luggage or clothes. And the bathroom/toilet combo was smaller than we have in our campervan. 4 feet by 4 feet! We were lucky we were only there to sleep as we arrived late and left the next day. But the staff were happy and smiling and very helpful.

Room was a superior one so I cannot talk about the other rooms. I was initially worried about how it would be but I have not been deceived by IBIS hotels. I stayed in my first one in Lyon then in Portsmouth UK and in Singapore was all good places. If you are looking for higher standards, just go to the others but for me that was a perfect place. Noise was mainly from other guests and unfortunately manners is not something that all people have. Had some humming sound from the electrical switch board and a partially clogged sink but the staff were very kind and helpful. They even proposed to change my room. I was OK with what I had and in the end the humming sound from the electrical board above the bed was repaired, The place is as clean as the shopping malls in Singapore, It's safe and walking distance to all. When it rains, no problem, the kind and helpful staff of IBIS are here to help you.

Think twice before you try it

Despite being aware of the negative reviews, I decided to give this hotel a chance. Unfortunately, the reality was even worse than my worst fears. The room was extremely disappointing and fell far short of my expectations. The exorbitant prices in Singapore make it difficult to find affordable accommodations, and this hotel is certainly not a budget-friendly option. The lack of a proper shower was a major inconvenience, and the windows were sealed shut, leaving no opportunity for fresh air. To make matters worse, the air conditioning system caused water to condense and flood the room on occasion. However, I must commend the friendly and helpful staff, as well as the hotel's convenient location.
