As with much of Singapore accomodation Hotel Royal was only a few hundred metres from a metro station. This made travelling very easy. The hotel was good, however the absence of a concierge meant that you needed to figure most things, such as tours and attractions out for yourself.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing stay. Francesca and all other staff were most friendly, pleasant and welcoming to us. The location is close by to the train station so is very convenient to travel to Venice and to Trieste to the port. Also, the buffet breakfast was delicious, fresh with lots to choose from. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Prices were good. First impressions were good from spacious rooms and cleanliness. Soundproofing was terrible. Guest upstairs was awake all night and you could hear every single footstep and constant noise. Room was extremely humid. Otherwise staff were very nice. Some renovations needed.

The hotel first gave us a very bad room with odor and dust and stains in the couch. Once complaint the Asst manager Priscilla was very attentive along with her front office subordinate and offered an executive room. Thank you very much for your service. The hotel should upgrade or tidy up the normal rooms !
