The loft room was great for a group of 5 who don't mind 2 pairs sleeping on the same beds, but note that the "lower" & "loft" beds are thinner (like futon; only the "main" bed uses a bed mattress) so those with back issues should take this into consideration. Room initially had missing hair dryer, but the front desk staff addressed it promptly. It was great that we always got bottled waters during our stay (def needed for our daily walking trips). Hotel's street has lots of restaurants so it did get noisy outside on weekend night, but we didn't really hear much noise in our room during our whole stay (or maybe we were just too tired to hear..) Best part about the hotel is its location- easy access to 2 MRT lines. We didn't know about the late opening of the DT line on the day we were supposed to go to the airport, So train staff was able to quickly guide us to an alternative train route to Changi Airport. Imagine the panic we would have been in if we stayed in an area with only 1 train line nearby..

Great central location for a first-time visit to Singapore. Our room was comfortable and clean. The A/C unit didn't respond to the remote control and the airflow was aimed at the beds, so we were cold when sleeping.

The hotel is located close to MRT Chinatown and easily walk to shops and restaurants nearby as well as famous Maxwell street food centre. Despite the age of the building, everything was kept in good working condition but no very nice place to spend holidays. Great choice for busy business person though.

Hotel Mono is good if you travel on a budget. It is very minimalist but the rooms are comfortable and it’s in a great location, walking distance from many of the city’s major attractions and friendly staff

Room is just right if you're planning to spend the rest of your day out exploring the city. Room is cold enough for a good night's sleep. If you're a light sleeper, the walls are thin and you could hear people talking in the hallways. Upstairs neighbors with heavy feet could also be a problem. Location wise, your neighbors are really good chinese restaurants. Chinatown mrt is also a few steps away.

Hotel Mono is staffed by 1 person, has 1 elevator, bathrooms on the first floor, secure entrance, clean rooms, lounge area on 2nd floor, shops very close by. Sounds leaks through doors. Overall, comfortable room. Did not use the TV. Showers were fine and no issues.
