"It’s a bit tired of a hotel. The staff is quite rude and curt (multiple staff at the front desk). Very un-Finnish experience. Something they could do is say hello welcome can I help you things like this. They stare at their computer monitors and they’re very curt with their answers. The room was very terrible with poor HVAC, which only works in the area near the bathroom, but not the room because it’s badly designed. Overall, the Hotel feels very dated, and it needs to be renovated."

"This is my third or fourth stay at this hotel, it is a good value for money option. The rooms were spacious and had everything we wanted in them despite being in an older building. The breakfast is a highlight as it is one of the best buffets I have experienced with every taste catered for. The hotel is a convenient 5 minute walk from the main railway station and within easy walking of the harbour and City Centre. The check in was very busy when we arrived but the staff were friendly and helpful. Only slight criticism is that the room smelled a bit musty on arrival but bed was comfy and tea and coffee making facilities were very welcome."

"This is maybe my favorite hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I loved it! My room was so much fun, on the top floor. High ceilings and I loved that it’s in an old prison and you can tell from the “cell” doors. The bed was so comfortable! I didn’t even need my ear plugs and slept so well. The best thing was the hotel offers a buffet breakfast AND dinner. It was awesome not having to worry about finding a place to eat after a busy day. Tram stop is right outside the hotel and it’s a great area to walk around in. Can’t recommend enough."

"Clean hotel with quality furniture and furnishings, great sauna, very nice and helpful staff. Free shuttle from the airport. The variety on offer at breakfast was nothing short of astonishing."

"The hotel is located at the end of a street close to a park, but it’s still pretty convenient for public transportation and close to the city center. It’s in a relatively old building and the windows are small and hard to open. The largest inconvenience comes from the stairs on the same level, with stairs even from hallway to my room, which is very inconvenient if you have a suitcase."
