The Golden Nugget is a beautiful hotel on Fremont Street. Elegant compared to the other hotels and Casinos. The rooms were nice. My only complaints or suggestions for improvements are the following.......1. If you book on third party site like Expedia, you don't get updated information that may affect your trip such as the fact that my 8 year son picked this hotel because he wanted to use the pool and waterslide adjacent to the aquarium tank. When we checked into the hotel we had to one to help us through the process. There should be a manager or guest coordinator on site in the front of the lobby to help guests use the automated system and ask if they need a bell hop and ask if they self parked or used valet. No one told us the pool was closed for the winter until we figured that out at the hotel. This establishment has a lot of potential, they just need better customer service.

This property is incredible. Beds were super comfortable, and had the perfect space for entertaining. The location is excellent on the strip, and the amenities were a great bonus. Only thing that was kind of annoying is they changed the locks while we were there so we had to go and get new keys, but a minimal blemish on an otherwise amazing stay.

Spent our wedding night here. The service was stelar and the suite was phenomenal! The room and hotel itself was pristine and quiet. I also like that there is no casino in the hotel. Will definitely return in the future.

The rooms are good sized and love the kitchen.

We like the enclosed year round pool, but during this stay, the water was too cold for swimming. Hot tub was fine, though. There was some noise from planes taking off from the airport. The property is almost directly under the flight path. Other than these issues, it's a great property for family stays! The in-unit amenities, including well appointed kitchenettes with full size refrigerator/freezer and 12 cup coffee maker, along with stacked laundry machines, are great!
