"This property is exceptional! We have stayed here for work events several times and have been extremely pleased with each experience. This trip, the weather was beautiful and we enjoyed peak fall colors. We prepared lunch and transported it to our St. Lawrence team during trainings we provide as well as hosted a dinner for the leadership team. As a foodie, I can attest to a well appointed kitchen with everything one would need to create wonderful meals. John and Donna are great hosts. Thank you for sharing the Lodge with us. "

"The place was so serene and beautiful that it felt bad leaving the place. Spent 2 nights staying at Jane's place and felt so much calmer spending time there. Listening to the sound of leaves falling and the pond nearby helped calm the nerves and enjoy the view while sipping coffee in the morning. Highly recommend! "

"This is a very nice property with more positives than negatives.I'll put the negatives first: No curtains on windows other than in the bedrooms/bathroom. This one seems kind of odd, but there is no way to cover the windows in the kitchen, dining room, or living room (which faces the lake). This combined with slightly close neighbors means that the lights they leave on or conversations can be seen and heard. I could not get the side door to lock. The only other part that can be considered a negative is that the walk to the dock has roots around the area that are uneven. There is a handle bar to assist when walking up and down to help maintain balance.Now the positives: Incredibly well furnished, all knives, cutlery, pots, pans, trays, cutting boards were well kept. The coaches recline and are comfortable. The dishwasher, clothes washer and dryer all worked well. The fire pit is at a good location with plentiful firewood. The gas grill worked great. The hot tub is large with strong jets and fireflies come out at night. The mosquitos were only active on one of the four nights I stayed. The lake is very beautiful and worth exploring and admiring. There's a lot of small wildlife around like chipmunks, robins, red squirrels, a cat, and countless unique birds singing and living around the lake. We put up a hammock and the days couldn't be more relaxing. "
