Great Location

The room was cleaner than some brand named Hotels. Nicely decorated cozy. Only negative was no AC so the room was hot even with the window open at night. If I stay again it would be early spring or late fall.

A comfortable room in the middle of a storm!

I am on a mountain bike tour and rolled in about 4p on Labor Day in a rain storm, in need of a dry/warm place to sleep. On the outside the town, and by association, the motel is a bit funky. However, inside the room was clean and super cute with a small "kitchen" that suited my needs 100%. And the host was very hospitable and welcoming!

Comfort at Lake Roberts Motel

The room was very well appointed with comforts beyond a usual roadside motel: good bed linens, ample and good quality towels in a spacious bathroom, tasteful decor and "kitchen" amenities (beyond the usual coffee pot) covering most needs for people bringing in their own food (no restaurant nearby). Even though there was no air conditioning (and it was hot), the two fans certainly sufficed until the cool of evening. I just felt there was a personal touch, much like a small B&B.

Very cute, clean and inviting place. Loved the decor and all the added touches. As suggested we made sure to bring food for our brief stay since you are in a remote area...but it was a cozy, restful nights sleep.

Cozy room

This room was perfect for an evening on our trek up to the Gila Cliff dwellings! Clean, very comfy bed and funky shelving in the bathroom. Very nice remodel of an old motel.
