"My family of five spent three nights at this house while traveling through Washington. We loved everything about the house and Packwood. We were there during the middle of summer and the town had no crowds. It took us no time to get the park. The owners were great to work with. They checked in on us and even volunteered to mail something back one of my kids left. The kitchen is full of dishes and utensils. The house has plenty of towels. The house looks much better in person than in pictures. This is probably one of the best houses we have ever rented. "

"I thought this house was a great value. It was spacious for our party of 8 adults and 2 kids (ages 7 and 9). There are two large separate gathering areas to hang out. There are three arcade games that kept the kids amused. There were two square tables that made it comfortable to play double pinochle. The house was clean and well-stocked. We used it as a home base to explore Mount Rainier and nearby lakes. Across the street from the house is a trail that leads to a river. It is small, but the kids enjoyed trying to skip stones which was difficult because the shore is raised above the river. We were there in July so it might be different at other times of the year. The house wasn’t fully updated for those who want the latest and greatest style,but it was clean and comfortable. "

"The cabin had everything we needed! Large bowls for pasta salad, a sheet pan for baking cookies, frying pans for breakfast and all the grill utensils. Plenty of towels which is always so nice and wonderful markers for rock painting we decided we needed to pick up some of our own! "

"Great location for the park. Enjoyed the deck and house was very comfortable. Packwood is a cute little town. We had cloudy weather in the park so the mountain hid most of the time but we will need to plan a trip back!"
