The welcome at the Sihilro Regency is second to none. We felt almost like family. The home cooked food offered is really fantastic, exceeding the standard in most of the hotels we stayed in. Arriving over the new year weekend, we were slightly concerned that onward travel would be difficult but they helped us find a taxi at a very reasonable price. We also used their in house Safari and the driver / guide was brilliant. Highly recommended.

Bel endroit accueillant.

La gentillesse du personnel, ils sont a votre écoute. L'hôtel sera parfait une fois l'étage terminé. Le RdC est très beau. La nourriture est excellente. Par contre, il est situé loin de tout, on y séjourne que pour voire la réserve, le matin un éléphant vient manger juste en face l'hôtel. Ne pas faire la nurserie pour éléphanteaux, perte de temps et d'argent...une nuit suffit, rien à faire d'autre à proximité.

Great hospitality

Very warm, attentive and welcoming staff. Room was comfortable and clean. Food was tasty and served in a nice open air dining room. Very close to Udawalawe National Park (go early to see animals). Staff were genuinely kind people. Enjoyed our stay a lot.

The best cook in Sri Lanka!

Very nice hotel and very warm and friendly staff. We went to safari and everything worked very well. This hotel has the best cook and the best food in Sri Lanka! Especially the rice and vegetable curry were delicious! We really enjoyed!

The place is ok

The owner's attitude was nice, location is quite close to the Udawalawe National Park. Breakfast however was only an omelet, 2 pieces of toast and a small cup of juice for each person which wasn't enough for us. The room was full of dust, and the air coming out of the AC feels like mold. If you want to join the safari, the owner has a jeep and a driver to take us into the safari in the morning which needs an additional cost, and we feel it's a little too high price.

Det är ett litet enkelt men trevligt familjehotell med några få rum. Mycket trevlig ägare och personal. Hotellet ligger ca 5 min körning från Uda Walawes entré. Det ligger dock lite ensamt längs med en landsväg.

The owners were very friendly and nice, the place peaceful and the room had everything we needed and more. The athmosphere was welcoming and the safari was arranged us as we hoped. I would definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay!

I have nothing to complain about. Everything was amazin! Great hosts. The food was really good. The owners always wanted to make sure I had a good time. I booked the safari trip through them and was not dissapointed. Great driver and a good Jeep. Will definetly come back to this place if my roads brings me here again!

Enkelt men bra!

Jag bodde här en natt för att besöka nationalparken. Rent och fräscht ställe med bra mat och väldigt trevlig och hjälpsam personal. De hjälpte mig både att boka safari och resan därifrån efteråt. Rummet var mycket enkelt, men letar du bara efter en ren säng och ett rejält mål mat, rekommenderas detta ställe varmt.

Petite guesthouse située à 3mn du parc d'Udawalawe. Les proprios sont des gens charmants, très prévenants. On se sent accueillis comme si on était de la famille.
