Unfortunately, our stay at this property was very disappointing. Despite the listing stating the home was "new," it was clear the property is not new but rather remodeled (not great), which was misleading. We encountered several issues that severely impacted our stay.
First, there was a serious mosquito infestation inside the house. We did everything we could, including purchasing pest control products, but the problem persisted, making it very uncomfortable—especially since we had an infant and littles with us. This made it impossible to enjoy the property, and we ultimately had to leave early and book a hotel.
Additionally, the bed sheets in the master bedroom had hairs on them that were not ours, which raised concerns about cleanliness. This, coupled with the poor lighting outside the property and the need to park one of our vehicles on a different street, left us feeling unsafe, particularly when walking with our children in the dark. its a sketchy neighborhood
The owner did offer a refund for the cleaning fee and pest control expenses, but refused to refund us for the remaining nights we did not use. As frequent travelers and owners of a short-term rental ourselves, we understand the importance of good customer service and addressing guest concerns promptly. Unfortunately, this was not our experience here.
While other guests may not have experienced these issues, we did, and we felt it was necessary to share this in hopes that it may help future travelers.
