"Was expecting a quiet, boring night but the old fashioned hotel bar was lively with interesting people so I enjoyed the fun! It’s not a vibe for young children maybe but perfect t for me as a solo traveler to meet friends. I’ll definitely stay again someday!"

"Stayed here basically bc I was too tired to keep driving. I arrived late, rang the bell and quickly checked in. While the room is small, it was spotless, with a great shower! The bed was also very comfortable. The next morning, I had a fantastic breakfast at the on-site restaurant/coffee shop. The staff at the hotel and at breakfast were amazing. At the tail end of my breakfast, they had started their (impromptu?) local church service in the coffee bar area. I stayed and sang along a few hymns."
"It was a perfect location for four golfing gals to hang out and relax. The place was clean and the had everything we needed. Super happy and hopefully we will come back next year."
"Easy check in, nice staff. Loved the simple breakfast and the coffee in the lobby. Nice little swimming pool and hot tub. Room was cute with a nice view. "

10/10 Excellent
"Our family recently had the pleasure of staying at Bailey’s Place during our 24th annual Labor Day gathering at the Yuba River, and it was nothing short of exceptional. While most of us camped at the Big Bend group site, this charming cabin provided a cozy and comfortable haven for those who preferred more traditional accommodations—especially our mom and others who needed a bit more comfort. The cabin is beautifully appointed, offering ample space for our group of eight. Layout is thoughtfully designed, with a spacious family room, well-equipped kitchen, and a large deck perfect for morning coffee or evening relaxation. The pet-friendly policy was a huge plus for us, as we brought along our sweet husky/shepherd mix, and he felt right at home. One of the standout features of Bailey’s Place is its proximity to the Yuba River. Just a short drive away, we enjoyed easy access to the river's natural beauty and recreational opportunities. Whether it was hiking, swimming, or simply soaking in the serene surroundings, the location was ideal for our family adventures. Our host, Phil, was so accommodating and responsive, ensuring that our stay was seamless from start to finish. The cabin was clean, well-maintained, and stocked with all the essentials, making it a true home away from home.We left Bailey’s Place with our hearts full, already planning our next visit. It was the perfect setting for creating cherished family memories, and we'd love to return!"
