We loved this place! We stayed for 4 nights in mid-November 2017.
This small boutique hotel is only a few months old. The polished concrete is beautifully modern. The mid-century modern furniture and tasteful fabrics and decor give it a very comfortable and welcoming vibe. The pool, especially at night, is stunning to look at it and beautiful to hear.
As nice as the actual rooms are, the staff are what truly set this place apart from the rest. Every single staff member we encountered was just so genuinely nice and helpful. They went above and beyond! The manager had become accustomed to us eating breakfast each morning in the lobby. On our last day, he knew we were rushing to pack and leave, so he politely came to our room and asked if we'd like to eat breakfast on our veranda. That's just what we needed! He was just so incredibly thoughtful!
He also arranged a private guide and tuk tuk driver for our visit Angkor Wat. We really lucked out with our guide. He was extremely knowledgeable and since it was only the two of us and our guide, he was able to discuss Cambodian history with us in a way that he wouldn't have been comfortable doing publicly or even in a small group. We will never forget that special day!
The small hotel is new and so they're still working out some of the details. During our first couple of days we had to ask for waste baskets, extra toilet paper, etc., but it was all worked out by the most kind people you'll ever meet.
Stay here! You'll love it!
