"When I arrived at the hotel I was allocated a ground floor room and the glass sliding doors onto the small balcony could not be locked. I advised the male receptionist that I could not stay in the room as it was not secure. He deemed indifferent to my concerns and said he was unable to allocate me another room as the hotel was full. He said he would get someone to look at the sliding doors. After 30 minutes no one had appeared. I returned to reception to be told that nothing could be done that evening. I advised the receptionist I would not be sleeping in a insecure ground floor room. 15 minutes later he returned and advised me the room 20 (2 doors down from my room) had miraculously become available. After posted a review of my treatment at reception on Hotel.com I moved into Room 20. The first thing that had struck me about both Room 18 and 20 was the level of noise coming from the pool area (Disco, Bingo etc). I was assured that the music would stop at 11pm. It didn’t stop until midnight every night. This was my fault had I done more research before booking I would have seen the review about “bring your EarPods if you want a decent sleep. The following morning the reception staff advised me I would be moved to a room on the 4th floor at no extra charge. I was very grateful. It was a nice room, safe but just as noisy as the others. Lesson learned read hotel reviews. This is a hotel for families with children and not for individuals looking for a quiet few days in the sun."
"I rarely leave reviews but I wanted to do so here as the place was just horrible, there was dirt on floor of the corridor the for the 3 days we were there ,the breakfast service was terrible queuing 15 mins for an omelette which was about the only thing worth having. I have never had to drink out of a paper cup before in a hotel, maybe at a kids party when I was 10 !. no cutlery and all of the staff waiting around not doing anything plates everywhere, just a dirty hotel I paid the city tax on arrival and they would not give me my key until I did, then on the way out I was charged again which I refused to pay."
"Avoid at all cost very rude staff. They will try to charge you for unnecessary extras as I booked a double bed room and they forced me to pay additional fees during the check in almost half of the cost of the nightly rate for having a second person with me. The ac doesn’t work in the room and not safe parking as it’s across from the property. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED !!!"
"Had a lovely stay here with my wife and baby. The food is nice (although can get a bit repetitive despite the varying menu), rooms are big and grounds are impeccably maintained"
"I really enjoyed my stay at the Agadir Beach Club Resort Hotel. I do believe my favorite part was the daily breakfast buffet. It is one of the best buffets I’ve ever had during my travels. I also enjoyed the Italian themed dinner buffet. The lasagna was absolutely amazing.
My room was beautiful and bright and overlooked the pool. The Hotel is a little older, but it is very well maintained and very clean. The location is amazing. It is literally steps from the promenade and the beach. There are amazing restaurants nearby. My favorite restaurant is O Playa.
The staff members were kind and helpful, especially Latifah and Khadijah. The only little concern I had was with the cleaning crew. They’d knock once and then enter my room without waiting for me to respond. I suggest they knock wait at least 10 seconds before opening the door. The Wi-Fi needs a little work. The signal is not as strong as it should be. The IT Guy has promised to work on it for me.
Overall, this is an amazing hotel with an amazing staff and a great food. I love it here. So much so I returned to stay 5 more days."
"A total mixed bag!
The good - the staff here are lovely, a specific shout out to the lovely man who looks after the pool and sports. He’s kind, friendly, fun and helpful to adults and engaging to kids.
Location is good, it felt safe, quiet, and yet is walkable to all main amenities and if you don’t want to walk taxis are easily available
The bad, which sadly outways the good- We had to change room due to balcony doors which didn’t lock (they must have known, the handle was hanging off!). We changed room and I found a massive pile of hair pulled from the plug hole and left in the side, yet I’d seen the cleaner cleaning the room
The breakfast is sooooo poorly organised. There is cereal but no milk until you ask for it. It’s warm. Then you have to ask for a spoon. The hot drink machine is sporadic. Its opening times are 7-10am however you can arrive at 8.30 and no tables are laid, half the food isn’t out/ready. It felt like hard work
Pool towels are ragged and frayed
The pool is a real feature of the hotel, and lovely…..until it turned bright green and had floating mold in it. When I mentioned h the is to reception she twice denied it until another staff agreed with me. It wasn’t a little bit of mold/algae, it was unswimable and they started draining it!
If you can stay here for a bargain, do it as rooms were nice, I’m sure the pool will be soon sorted….. but overall I wouldn’t stay here again. Too many problems. More 2 star than 5"
"This hotel doesn’t have any entertainment in evening food is good.
I time I was staying there there was having building work done so not good.
Cleanest was 10
I wouldn’t stay at this hotel again very noisy due to my room was on main room also nigh club at opposite the hotel."
"Wonderful family hotel; however, it's lacking in simple things like a coffee station in the lobby for parents to relax while children play. Not everyone wants to drink alcohol, and to say it's a Muslim country, this was disappointing. The only food options in the hotel are by the pool and hotel restaurants. Restaurants were not open all day, so that was a no. The poolside restaurant options were not great. This hotel doesn't cater to gluten-free allergies. However, if you bring your own bread, wraps, etc., they were accommodating with making the food. Its a good hotel for young families and the slides make the entire trip worth it for the children.
Slide opening times 10am to 1pm
Close at 1pm to 3pm
Re open between 3pm and 5pm"
