"Located on the 25th floor of the building, our room is huge and offers a good view. Room has all the necessary amenities and the location is great with louhan temple just next door, ba yi road and hongya dong a short stroll away. The room itself shows signs of wear and tear but our main complain would be that the lifts are also shared with offices and hotels on the other floors, thus it may take a while go up and down from the room. "This newly opened hotel provided one of the most comfortable sleeping experiences we’ve ever had. The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly, as were the team members in the breakfast restaurant. The breakfast itself was among the best we’ve ever enjoyed. Would stay here again!

"The hotel was in a great location within walking distance of several tourist spots as well as five minutes to the metro. The room was a great size. I particularly liked the size of the bathroom and its layout. The staff were helpful and used translation on their phones to answer questions. The skylounge was nice for the view while having a cocktail or afternoon tea set. There is a luckin coffee attached to the property. I used the pool a few times. The only negative was the mattress was too firm. "

"I am in love with what this hotel has to offer. Their service is 10+. From checking in to checking out, this hotel meets all expectations. I asked for a late check out and they have me a 3pm without extra charge. The view of the skyline is breath taking. They also have a pillow menu to ensure your stay is good. They offer refreshments daily and theyre all amazing. I would def come back and stay here again. They are also very walkable to the train station. "

"We had the best stay at Somerset - hands down the BEST! They upgraded us to a 2-bedroom suite and it was enormous! The view of the Yangtze was magical. I didn’t want to leave the room - I just wanted to sit by the window and watch the river flow. Everything in the room worked perfectly. The beds were super comfortable. The pool is a major perk- so is the robot that delivers drinks and snacks. Definitely order something from the robot! I’ll always stay at this hotel when I’m in Chongqing. It honestly felt like home."
