Bugs. There were roaches. Upon walking into the room, a roach fell on my head. Went to the front desk clerk (who was polite and professional), told her of my experience. Told her I would like a refund. She told me to call Expedia. I called Expedia who told me they’d have to contact the hotel for a refund. I’m 24 hours out and likely won’t get refunded my $166. Overall, the hotel was run down. Poorly cared for. It looked like homeless people were living in the stairwells. This place was awful.

What a dump!!!
From check in and through entire stay, this has been by far a tragic experience…This hotel was listed as luxury room HOWEVER, it was extremely a dump and not comparable to the worst motel 6!!! The room had not been cleaned, cigarette butts and other trash thrown throughout carpet, worn drapes with holes all over, filthy bathroom with peeling tub, mold around caulking and cracked ceiling. We have been bitten several times from the knats & mosquitoes…..I snapped pics of ALL for proof when I report my dissatisfaction to Hotels.com

Front desk personal were awesome. Hard to control hot and cold water it also had very low water flow along with even slower shower draining. Had 2 large cockroaches in the room during my week stay. Cleaning personal kept roon made but failed to properly close the door to the room leaving all my belonging unsecured.

They asked for a cash security deposit but failed to tell me that I'd have to wait for staff to arrive so they could inspect the room before returning it! No delay in check out if credit card is used.

Close to the airport. Good restaurant attached, very good home style cooking. Great, friendly staff. Sofas in lobby were a little worn.

The manager was rude & disrespectful. He also belittled his employee in front of us. If it wasn't for the officers i rather had got another hotel.

Mr. Francisco,Thank you for your review, but you have to tell your side of the story, first of all the property manager was not rude it was you that was very rude, screaming at our front desk, because you don't want to pay Room deposit, all the manager was trying to do is calm you down from screaming at the front desk to show you our Hotel Reservation Room Deposit policy portfolio, but you were trying to work your way by screaming at his face show him your phone and keep on saying there's no deposit in our portfolio, but there is so next time you book a Reservation please read and understand the Hotel policy before you come in with your rude attitude, and trying to get away from paying the 50 Room deposit. Have a nice day.

Not Bad, Could've Been Better
We've stayed at this location several times when we travel to Shreveport, in the same room. This time we were in a different one, no problem. However, there were some issues. I KNOW this is NOT a 5 star hotel, but it is/was still "decent" and at good prices. There was water leaking from the bottom of the cold water faucet, we kept putting a towel there. The shower clogged up while showering; a cigarette hole in the sheet the 1st night, but no issues afterwards; chair and ottoman looked BAD, hope it wasn't blood stains; and well, a few SMALL roaches were in the tub a couple of times before I showered. Other than these issues, no problems. I did Microban THE ENTIRE ROOM a few times while we there; habit. Front desk staff was super friendly, very helpful. Cable TV was great, my fiancee got to watch some movies ALL NIGHT LONG on HBO and Cinemax. LOL It's gotten run down as time has passed, but they have ALWAYS come through for us.

The worst i ever stayed at
The information is misleading, the pool has been closed a couple years, i picked this hotel for the indoor pool, wifi works only outside the room, the shower/tub drain stops up and the sink, i got a non smoking room, it smelled of smoke, its says no. Pets, the next room had a dog run outside,, ,not Enough plugg ins,,corridor door stays open ,;;curtains are old and not black out, i didnt tell clerk, the other rooms was probably the same,they got my card information n put 50$ on it if you damage the room they keep, money, this isnt put up front on description, a very uncomfortable stay im glad its over, i will never stay here again, this is a truck driver's hotel

Had one issue that was easily fixed. The staff went above and beyond to fix it. Got free food because of our inconvenience, which was really nice. Got a suite for the price of a standard room.

They have bed bugs.. My girl an i had 6 or 7 bites a piece on us after 3 days.. They hold your money for 14 days but tell you 5 to 7 buiness days..front desy staff have attitudes.. Just tragic

This is the second hotel on top of Oreo that stated something about a deposit. There's nowhere in the contract that says anything about a deposit. The area in amount of money that I paid for this room I could have booked a room at a casino. They tried to charge a $10 early check-in fee so I left came back and my room was still not ready. Cover that I still will not receive my deposit money back until next week.

So sorry to hear your concern, check in time for Reservation is 3pm, if your trying to check in early that is why we charge a early check in fee, Room Deposit in in our portfolio under fee $50 Room Deposit will be collect at the property upon arrival. We void the Authorization the day of your depart but your bank will have to put your money back into your card according bank policy. Hope these will help you understand the property policy..

It was a spacious room, but sup-par in every other way. Our “non-smoking” room was super-smoky… I’m not sure if that’s what set off my allergies, or if it was the lack of cleanliness. There was a dead bug and some type of wrapper (not ours) between the bed and night stand. Wayyyy over priced for its condition.

Small in the extreme. Bath so small could hardly sit on toilet with door closed. Overall appearance was unclean. Would never ever stay there at any price.

Will stay here again
Our stay was quite nice the room was clean with fresh sheets on the bed. The bed was really comfy and we slept very well. Check in was no hassle at all and check out was a breeze. The owner was very nice and supportive of the lady working at check in because he had to go explain something to her she didn't know how to do. I thought it was kind of him to be so good to her.

I reserved a suite on hotel.com and when I got to the hotel…. The lady said they were out of suite so she had to give another room but it was not a suite… just a regular room…. It wasn’t worth $150 but we were out of town and needed a place to rest….

Pictures don’t always show what you receive
The photos online show a very different hotel than what we arrived to. These pictures must have been taken 20 years ago. The pool wasn’t open. The indoor pool area that you walked through to get to your room did not have air conditioning with a constant temperature of 90 degrees. The shower drain was clogged so badly we had to change rooms. The staff was very nice but can only do so much with what they have. It was a stressful time as we had evacuated for hurricane Ida and arriving to this did not make things easier.
