We had stayed at a different hotel the night before (when this location was sold out) and it was less than ideal. We were welcomed from the moment we stepped on the Marriott property and took away so much stress from what had been a pretty hectic arrival into Shreveport. Mercedes at the front desk was absolutely amazing in helping get our room prepared and secured early for us, answer questions and making sure we had everything we needed. It was clean, the amenities were great, the beds were comfortable. There was work going on at the location but it was quiet at night and you could tell they were taking the needed measures to fix and maintain items not in working order. This will always be where we stay from here out coming to Shreveport. The staff at the Marriott went above and beyond, my kids have talked about how kind and welcoming they were all week.

The room got a tad hot overnight even with the thermostat set on 68. Besides that the hotel stay was great. Awesome location. Sad the Boardwalk isn’t full of stores like it used to be.
