"My stay at Hyatt Place Newark was an excellent experience from start to finish, and I would gladly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Newark area. Every employee I interacted with throughout my stay was friendly, professional, and eager to help with any questions or requests. Their positive attitude truly stood out and helped create a relaxing experience. One of the first things I noticed was how clean and modern the hotel looked. The lobby was bright, stylish, and inviting, and the overall property was very well maintained. My room exceeded expectations in every way. It was spacious, quiet, and exceptionally clean, with comfortable furniture and a layout that made it easy to relax after a long day. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I appreciated the soft pillows and fresh linens. I also liked having a separate seating area, which made the room feel even more comfortable and convenient. The housekeeping team did a fantastic job keeping everything spotless during my stay. The bathroom was sparkling clean and stocked with fresh towels and toiletries. "When we checked in, the front desk lady was friendly and welcoming and knew exactly who I was, probably because I was the last check-in for the night. I appreciated feeling like I was expected and someone was paying attention. The bed was fantastic! The mattress was firm but comfy, the sheets were clean and fresh, and the pillows were thick and deep. I love that they use duvets, so there are no gross blankets and comforters. I slept really well. We had two queens, and the room was a very comfortable size. It was larger than I expected, in fact. The A/C unit was loud, but kept the room cool and the thermostat was easy to adjust. Breakfast was surprisingly good. There were little cheese-filled omelettes that were a nice change from the usual scrambled eggs, and the sausage patties were good, if a bit salty. There were also fresh biscuits and gravy. There were other options like cereal and whatnot, but it was far better than the usual lame offering of prepackaged pastries and muffins so many hotels offer. It helped us start the day off right. All in all, this was an easy, pleasant experience at a good price, and I will happily stay here again the next time I'm in town. "

"Stayed at Extended Stay America Suites – Fremont – Newark and had a very disappointing experience. The property looks nothing like the photos on Expedia, everything felt outdated, dirty, and had a strong unpleasant smell. The room furniture was worn out and torn, and the bathroom looked poorly maintained. Our first room had a window that wouldn’t close and thin shades that let in too much light, making it hard to sleep. We requested a room change but were asked to “adjust” multiple times. Eventually got another room, which was only slightly better. No breakfast, just coffee. Only positives: location. Overall, very dissatisfied. Expedia should review this listing. Would not recommend."
