My sister and I were overwhelmed with the similarities of this house and a log home our parents built 37 years ago in Battle Creek. We have lost both of our parents since then and it was a happy reminder of that time in our lives.
This place was perfect for the 11 of us to explore Munising and all it has to offer. We cooked most of our meals in the good sized kitchen.
The only suggestion we have is the toaster oven doesn’t toast very well and it would be nice to have the WiFi password written and posted somewhere in the house because there is absolutely no cell service in the area for miles.
The house was big and looked just like it did in the pictures. I was disappointed with the amount of mouse traps that are laid all over the house, very disturbing. Also the basement had a very bad odor like dead rats and humid smell. We got charged $50 for leaving 10 minutes after check out which is ridiculous, the host had us remove all the sheets from each bed and wash all the dishes, which doesn’t make sense since we pay a cleaning fee.
