"This small motel was very clean and the gentleman at the office was very friendly. I enjoyed my stay and was very comfortable. My room showed a few signs of wear and tear (mismatched towels, a couple with holes in them; several areas where the bathroom walls were very scraped up), but these did not affect the quality of my stay. One concern I had was that there was only a deadbolt lock on the door, no secondary lock such as a chain lock."

"Easy check in process, very clean, comfortable cabin with everything you need supplied. We stayed for a moosehunt so didn't spend much time at the cabin. But, was very comfortable to come back to every evening. I'm sure this is a great place to be in the summer! Thanks!"

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The house was clean, comfortable, and looked just like the photos. Check-in was a breeze, and the host was very responsive and welcoming. We loved relaxing here and would definitely stay again!"

"It was very fun staying in a historical building. My room was very clean and comfortable and despite being warned that there could be noise from the restaurant/pub my stay was very quiet. Another huge draw for staying at the Opera House is that I was only 25 steps away from great food and really good beer. Chris was welcoming and very helpful!"

"So many good things to say! We were greeted with a local treat & nice note with details about the house! Plenty of beds available for our group, the hot tub in the house was a fun feature and the night views were just stunning! Had minimal questions but the host always responded quickly over the messaging app."

"Our stay was phenomenal! We know the area very well. We stayed there with my Mom and our dogs for a long weekend and were so comfortable. We had absolutely everything we needed and it truly felt like a home away from home. It’s clean, comfortable, quiet, and absolutely beautiful. You can’t find a more gorgeous location. The stars at night, the loons calling, the beautiful water with Mt. Katahdin in the background. As a lifelong Mainer I can say that you will experience the very best of what Maine has to offer at this location. We are grateful to have found this place and we hope to return again. The hosts were fabulous. So welcoming, accommodating and kind."
