"AMAZING STAY! Run by a very cute and welcoming family. They are the 6th generation to run a Ryokan here in this 300 year old building. They are excellent hosts. "This hotel is in a convenient location, approximately 15 minutes walking distance from the train station and local attractions such as Sumpu Castle park and the Shizuoka City Museum of History. The staff speaks English well. The breakfast is very good and has Japanese and Western options. There are many restaurants nearby. A lounge with massage chairs, vintage game consoles, and a large manga collection is available. There are in-house washer/drier and vending machines. We would stay here again."
