"FoxKit Cottage could be one of our best VRBO rentals ever. It is often difficult to find a property for a couple and still have plenty of room and this fit our requirements perfectly. Such a relaxing atmosphere with spectacular ocean views. We spotted whales and had several sightings of the resident Kit Fox, took advantage of the wonderful seafood restaurants on the bay,enjoyed walks on the beach and especially enjoyed the hot tub on the deck. Unlike some other properties we have rented the was very well equipped.We highly recommend this property."

"The location on the beach and hot tub was amazing. The stair well to the loft was smaller than we thought it would be, and the bathroom door was heavy and loud to use. But everything else was great!"

"Very much enjoyed our stay at Surfscape! Views from the house are amazing, loved watching the ocean every day for the frequent whale sightings and the seals that occasionally came near shore. Loved the access to the beach, and could walk for quite a distance when the tides were low to explore the beautiful shoreline. Views from the hot tub were just amazing. One thing to note, there are two cottages on the property, Surfscape and Seamist, that share the driveway/parking and stairs that access the beach. The stairs from the other cottage pass right in front of the hot tub and house windows so not extremely private if you’re looking for complete privacy, but we had no issues with having neighbors very close by. House was a short drive into Bodega bay and some lovely restaurants. Beautiful spot for a relaxing, quiet stay if you want unobstructed views of the coast and direct beach access, which seems very rare in the area."

"The house was lovely and well stocked. Communication with the hosts was excellent, they were always prompt in getting back to us. The hot tub was a hit. We enjoyed Jenner and the surrounding area. Visited the redwoods in Armstrong and had dinner at River's End. Both were excellent. Our only disappointment was the cold foggy weather which happened during our whole visit. We didn't get to see any of the amazing sunsets we had read about.No fault of the hosts. I think we will need another visit!"

"Our family of eight (6 adults and 2 kids) absolutely loved our stay at the property. This house is exactly as pictured. Super quiet (meaning zero neighbors) and all to ourselves. Looking out over the Pacific morning, noon, and night is exactly what we wanted. It did not hurt that we hit the weather just right. Warm in the 80’s at the River and perfect in the 60’s at the house. The proper big screen in the living room made for good movie nights as well. All bedrooms with their own full baths is really a luxury. Put all this together with an excellent host who was available and checked in with us just to make sure all was going well. This place is exactly what you want with a Sonoma Coast vacation less than 2 hours drive from The City. Cheers. Well done."
