The King room was great and the Check-in service was excellent. The free breakfast was good; could use some fresh fruit: bananas, apples or oranges and yogurt.

Place got mad for litterly us leaving a instruction manul on the table, like thats all, room was clean and everything was picked up b4 we left but almost didn't get the deposit back witch by the way is 200$ so i will never waste another day there again, it was 1 peice of paper smh

Horrible stay
The hotel is in horrible condition. Carpets coming up and the rooms carpet has not been vacuum in a long time. Chair in room the leather covers completely worn off. Stains on the other chairs and stools. Refrigerator Cabinet falling apart When I spoke to the front desk they couldn’t care less!! The gist said yeah we know. I was charged 119 dollars on the site put the bill said 89.00

Happy customer.
It was a nice stay. The only thing, towels are hard/rough like sand paper. Otherwise; it was very comfortable, staff very nice. Breakfast very nicely put together. Will stay here again. Price was very good.

Friendly hotel
I enjoyed my stay. The town is beautiful. The hotel was clean. The employees were friendly and helpful. I only stay at this hotel when I go to Shelby NC.

Not impressed
We had to do a last minute booking and this was the highest rated hotel that still had availability. Once we arrived, I understood why it had availability. The key cards did not work the first time. The hotel is under constructio(which is good, showing improvement). Once we finally got into our room, I discovered ant traps in the bedroom. My wife found multiple ants in the bed. The bathroom was completely infested with ants. The shower curtain had a stain on it. The corners of the ceilings have not been cleaned in a long time. Our room also began to have the odor of marijuana invaded our room after midnight as well. This was the first and last time I will ever stay at a Country Inn.

They are upgrading but the work going on did not bother me as it was quiet and not on my hall. Staff was especially thoughtful and upbeat. It was good to see people smile and be friendly!

No WIFI, but a better than average room
The check-in was smooth, and the room was quiet but showed some wear and tear. For example, the curtains were torn/frayed and there was some wall repair needed around utility access panels. This second floor room was unaffected by some ongoing water damage remediation in the first floor hall where drying devices were running. The hotel is located next to a shopping mall parking lot, so there are dining, shopping and movie choices within walking distance. My greatest complaint was the lack of hotel WIFI to the room at the end of the second floor hall. Hotel staff faulted the router range, but they did reset the router in an attempt to help.

Shelby hamfest stay
Breakfast was very good. Eggs, a meat and a bread plus fruit and yogurt. The were in process of changing juice vendors so there was no orange juice. They had cookies and coffee available in the lobby most of the time. They had a water leak on the first floor and the cleanup crew was there. They made very little noise and all was quiet on the second floor.

Beautiful area! our room was covered with ants. Even after spraying, ants returned. Other guests were talking about it in the breakfast room. No equipment in the fitness room nor laundry facilities on site. Have to drive downtown to the nearest laundromat.

The staff was friendly. The property had ants. I heard several guests asking each other if their room had ants. They sprayed our room the first day and we had ants again the second day. Website said laundry facilities, but there are none on site. Also, the fitness room is completely empty. Literally, no equipment in there. Half of our AC unit didn’t blow any air out of it. Definitely won’t be back
