We enjoyed being walking distance from many playgrounds, beaches and the river walk- not to mention soft serve on the corner. Good bathrooms and new kitchen. Lovely side yard with real live bunnies throughout!

Everything was clean and just as it looked on the listing. Our favorite part was that it was just a 6 minute walk to Deland Park, which has a beautiful beach.

Great spot!

What a great house and spot! It is new, clean, well-appointed and in a great location near the harbor and the lake. And there is an ice-cream shop a block away that also sells Sheboygan brats and fried cheese curds. What more could anyone want.

This was probably the most well stocked rental I have stayed in. It was clean, comfortable, and the location was great. The stairs would definitely be challenging for the very young, the very old, or the slightly intoxicated. We would 100% stay here again.

Reserved this place as a place to get away from the full family holiday gathering. It did not disappoint!! Very clean with plenty of comfortable furnishings throughout. Kitchen has all one needs for any size meal prep and sevice. Quiet neighborhood with easy access to beach and riverfront. Recommended without reservations!

We had a great time in Sheboygan. Business brought us into town. The home was in a perfect location. It was close to downtown, walking distance to the lake and Ice cream. The home was beautifully updated. The town of Sheboygan was so cute. Great shops and restaurants. The walk along the pier at the lake was so relaxing and pretty. We will back for a vacation trip next time.

Enjoyed the stay

My family and I were in town for Christmas, and the house served as a great spot of us to hang our hats. Mike was a tremendous host who was very quick to respond to any questions. He even ensured that the house was pleasantly decorated for the season. The house is conveniently situated between town (~3 blocks) and the lake Michigan beaches (~2 blocks). We found the kitchen to be fully equipped and included a selection of K-cups for us to enjoy each morning. Most importantly, the house was clean throughout making our stay quite comfortable.

Great location

Old house updated as nicely as it could be. Good attention to detail and so nice to have all the things you might need (utensils, pans, coffee, hairdryer, beach chairs, beach towels). The stairs are definitely steep but manageable as long as you can climb stairs. The location is perfect for anything you’d want to do. There is no air conditioning upstairs. That was a bit hard with napping littles during the day. They had fans but they didn’t do much to cool anything. That may have changed our decision to stay there had we known it. But, if that doesn’t matter, then it’s great on every other aspect.

Fantastic Fourth of July Getaway in Sheboygan

My wife and I enjoyed a long weekend in this property over the 4th of July. The 3 bed and 2 bath home was exactly as presented in the previews and reviews. The kitchen was exceptionally well-stocked with everything from mixers to utensils to cookware - very complete. Beds were comfortable and every room was well-lit. Communications with the manager, Michael, were prompt and well done. We were mere blocks from a great view of both the Venetian Boat Parade and excellent fireworks. A quick walk to either the beach or downtown was also exactly as advertised. The only issue to be aware of (and this is stated in other reviews) are the stairs between 1st and 2nd floor. It is an older building and has been rehabbed with obvious care - but there is a slight tilt to the stairs. Nothing severe, but you want to use a bit of caution and the handrail. But overall, a very minor point, to a very enjoyable and relaxing getaway for a long summer weekend.

Good but cold

Most of this stay was good. The location was good for us. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cookware. We really appreciated some of the extras like a few storage containers/ziploc bags etc. since we had a Thanksgiving meal with family (and leftovers). We knew it had steps but they were a bit steep and slanted so not good for anyone who might struggle even a little with steps. We also loved the extras like the wide range of games, puzzles etc. This was a nice touch especially when staying multiple nights. Our main complaint was that the upstairs (where all of the bedrooms were) was VERY COLD overnight. After the first night, we tried turning up the heat a bit to help, but it defaults to much cooler overnight (which we understand and do at our own home) but then it didn't heat upstairs at all. There was only one blanket on each bed which was not enough. We know space heaters are not safe, but possibly more blankets and/or electric mattress pads/blankets would be helpful. There were fans in the room so it probably isn't an issue in warmer weather. We grew up in WI and live in MN so we are used to cold nights, but even for us, it was really cold.

Our stay was very nice. We went to sit on 2 beaches and read/relax. Did just that. Elkhart Lake was one beach. Also went to Kohler. Everything was great!
