Get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy some much needed fresh air in this relaxing mountain retreat.

This charming, two story cabin, is located on a hillside in the West Village of Shaver Lake, just a 5 minute walk to downtown. With an updated kitchen, gas fireplace and washer/dryer, this three bedroom/two bathroom home has everything you need to create great memories for you and your family.

Downstairs you will find a modern kitchen, family room, bathroom and small bedroom with a full size bed. Enjoy some hot chocolate and popcorn as you cuddle up on the couch next to the gas fireplace and play board games or watch movies on the 50" flat screen TV (with DVD player). Large windows look out onto the front porch, which sits high in the trees, providing beautiful views in a relaxing setting.

Upstairs there are two bedrooms with queen beds, including a large master bedroom. In addition, there is a bathroom and bonus area with a pull out, full size, futon.

A large back deck provides a perfect place for kids activities while the adults enjoy relaxing on the front deck. This cabin is an ideal getaway for a family or two couples. Only minutes to the lake and 20 miles to China Peak, the opportunities abound. The stairs you climb to get to the cabin may be taxing, but the good things in life are worth the effort.

A Great Snow Trip

My family and I came from the valley to enjoy some time in the snow. We went skiing nearby, played board games, and enjoyed the warmth of the fire. The cabin was cozy, and we had a great time all around!

Cozy cabin

We had a great time here! The cabin was clean and cozy and check-in is super easy. The owner/host was so nice! The location is perfect to walk to one of the local restaurants. China Peak is about 25 minutes away. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful and cozy cabin

This place was absolutely beautiful, the locations, neighborhoods and walking distance to everything that you need. The place was very clean and was accommodating for our family of 5. You will not regret staying here, just like all the reviews said, it’s a five start cabin.

Gorgeous

We really only needed a place to sleep while we were working on my daughter’s property. This place turned out to be beautiful, peaceful quiet. The cabin is so well stocked. A little slice of heaven.

Great property and location. Every kitchen pan or utensil you could want. Quite a number of stairs, inside and out, but doable if u have been keeping up on your cardio routine. Hosts are available and extremely accomodating!

Treetop Stay

Fun Stay at Shaver

We had a great time at this cabin! It was just as advertised with relaxing decks on both sides of the house and three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a well appointed kitchen. We had a blast playing bags in the back and had a campfire that night on the deck! Fun times. Thank you!

Awesome Trip

We had an awesome time celebrating my son’s 10th birthday at Lazy Lady. It was very spacious, comfortable, cozy, variety of dvd’s to pick from and games. We all as a family enjoyed ourselves. The cabin is beautiful and exactly as seen on pictures and described on other reviews. The view out the windows👍 We accidentally locked ourselves out and reached out to the owner whom responded quickly and was able to help us get back in. We are looking forward to staying at Lazy Lady again😊

Cozy Cabin

Our stay was exceptional. This cabin was cozy and comfortable. The hosts were very responsive to questions I had prior to our arrival. The cabin was very clean and well appointed all the way around. The beds and sofas were all comfortable. The linens and towels were clean and I appreciated extra blankets to cuddle up on the couch. . The layout of the cabin allowed all 5 people to enjoy their own space while still enjoying time together. Everyone in our party was impressed with the cabin and looks forward to coming back. Spring Ski Weekend

This a great cabin in the main downtown neighborhood of Shaver Lake. It was a rare late snow storm in Spring that brought lots of fresh snow where there were only patches left before. Our host, Christian came out to snow plow the driveway for us and got the cabin warmed up for before we arrived. The cabin itself was very clean and well kept with a thoughtful layout. You can tell the hosts use this cabin for their own as well as a rental, as it is not generic, but homey. It's got a very well stocked kitchen, board games, books and plenty of blankets. We will certainly return for our future Shaver summer and winter vacations.

Cozy, relaxing and perfect

Every year my husband and I take our family to Shaver Lake for New Years. We usually stay at a friend's cabin but they recently sold it. This was our first time using VRBO, I was very hesitant but I am so glad we gave it a shot. This was a wonderful experience. The cabin was as described (actually better in person). It was clean, cozy, had everything we needed and more. Check in/out was smooth. Hosts were very nice and available if needed. We actually woke up to a winter wonderland this morning so much snow. We were nervous pulling out but the neighbors were so friendly and helpful. This was a wonderful place to stay. Thank you again for sharing your lovely home with us. We hope to stay again sometime.

Shaver Lake

This is a cozy cabin. There are plenty of places to sit outside to enjoy the outdoors. It's a great place for friends and families to make memories in this small lake town. The owners were very helpful with information. You will get your exercise also. I see why they tell you how many stairs there are to get to the front door. There is no cable or internet which fits well with this cabin. There is a nice selection of DVDs for a family movie night. Kitchen is perfect for preparing meals. Print the directions the owner details in the information packet. It has photos also to help navigate your way. All details were covered and everyone had a fun time! Till next time.....

Fishing trip

Great stay! Home was roomy, beds comfortable. Had everything we needed in the kitchen. Would definitely stay again.For those with mobility issues, the initial climb to the door and the climb to upstairs bedrooms are a bit steep. Our 78 yo family member made it slow and steady and was content to stay in and enjoy the cabin and the downstairs bedroom the entire stay.
