"This review is to be a warning to other consumers. The pictures of this property as presented on this site, are not a true presentation of this property. They are embellished and not real. This property is a total dump!!! It is an old and very disgusting hotel that has tried to improve its look by renovating the rooms and lobby with cheap materials and cheap remodeling. First of all, the hotel exterior is enough to make you vomit and scared to even go inside. Indoors have such a terrible smell, that you might as well go to a motel or hostel. You won't be able to breath. The so-called "remodeling" was done to cover up the low-quality rooms, but it is absolutely terrible. There are cracks and stains and mold everywhere. The beds are gross with stains too. If all this was not enough to turn you away, beware of the COCKROACHES IN THE ROOM!! I have pictures of all of this and will try to post them here. I stayed in this hotel only because it was half price of the other places, and i still regret it. I might be scarred for a long time, it was so disgusting!! Yuck "

"Would have rated hotel a 5 except no sleep on Fri and Sat night until after 2am due to noise of bar!!!!! Great location to restaurants walking less then 1 block: Harry's, Dragonfly, OAK, BBQ chicken, Pizza place, Starbucks, ice cream shop. No parking but we knew this so ubbered everywhere. Nice pool, great staff, friendly and quick to respond to needs. So my advice is dont stay here on the weekend unless you stay up partying until 2am and ubber, dont rent a car. Continental breakfast was the best ive ever had."

"The lady at the front desk during check in had this underlying judgemental tone toward me. Almost like she knew my type and didn't like me from the get go. This plaxe was Nasty. Noisy. Awful. I've stayed in every price range. From $65/night to thousands / night. This place was the worst. The cloth chair looked like dirty blue collar men had sat in it for the last 10 years. That's not a slight on blue collar men, I am one. But if I sat in a cloth chair after work every day, this chair is what it would look like. The bed had a very faint smell of vomit... The white paint in the tub was flaking off and showing the bright blue tub it used to be. Roaches. The curtains had what appeared to be cigarette burn holes in them. The mattress was uncomfortable. The pillows were flat. There were people upstairs and outside yelling and running ALL night long. The AC was impossible to set correctly it was either too cold or too hot. We tried to go to sleep about 10 to get up at 7. We got about 3 hours sleep. It was miserable. "

"The apartment was in a great location , close to everything you would ever need … it was fully furnished with all the cooking supplies and linens. There was an issue with the appliances and some of the linen not being clean. I contacted the host and they gave me a partial refund and had some new linens sent over the same day . Communication and follow up was absolutely 10/10 … the only complaint is that I think the property needs a professional DEEP clean . Whoever is providing the cleaning service for the host is taking advantage . There is a bit of dust , dirty rug & not thoroughly cleaned appliances . However, the spacious apartment and communication made up in part for it . I would definitely stay there again, especially for an extended stay, I would just clean myself like I did . "
