Escape to the solice of Northumberland County and enjoy a stay in the Irish Valley Cottage. This 350 sq ft cottage offers beautiful sceneries, seclusion and solitude. Located near a large pond with a dock, pavilion and hiking trails, the Irish Valley Cottage will no doubt make you unwind and relax. There is enough parking for 2 vehicles in front of cottage, but if there is a need for enough room for a trailer, there is a large parking lot in walking distance. Fishing in the pond is allowed, catch and release only. We look forward to you booking with us!

Beautiful cabin

I enjoyed my stay so much! This was my first time in the area and checking out Knoebels! Beautiful property and peaceful cabin! The only bummer was it rained the night we arrived , and the following day the wood was still too damp to light a fire outside. Hope to visit again in the fall !

End of tax season getaway

Loved the property and such a lovely cozy cabin. Not a lot to do or places to eat in the area but it wouldn't stop us from visiting again. In fact, the fall views must be spectacular!!!

Charming cabin

Very peaceful, charming cabin on beautiful property. Close to Knoebels amusement park. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed for our stay. It was spotless and I would love to return.

Amazing peaceful cabin

The perfect cabin for a weekend trip. The host did a wonderful job especially with how clean it was, had everything you would need and the pond was so cute. Would definitely be back.

This was the perfect location for my getaway. A quaint little cabin on a beautiful property, and located near many venues for entertainment (for me it was hiking in Weiser State Forest; also visited Centralia on my way home). Beautiful Property

My wife and I hand a wonderful weekend stay at this property. The cottage was incredibly clean and organized; everything that we needed was available and at our fingertips. The owner/property manager was so kind and takes great pride in the cottage and entire property - and it shows! We had a very relaxing, private weekend that we really enjoyed. We will be back!

Need Peace and Quiet, This Is The Place

So Quiet, The Birds Serenade You At Dawn. I so enjoyed the rest and the green mountain this cottage is located upon. I was doing genealogy research at nearby libraries and historical society but the best was coming back to this cottage to restful sleep. It’s close to Knoebels Amusement Park, my favorite place as a child. Check it out, you will enjoy your stay.

What a fantastic experience. wanna get away? well this cottage was not only cozy but perfectly placed off-road and next to a visitor-friendly farm. Perfect ambience, clean, but not too far from reality, we enjoyed our 48-hour rendezvous, sitting by the fire, looking at the stars, and making special memories. This will be a definite yearly tradition, and we couldn’t ask for a better place.

Family weekend

I was visiting with family for my grandson’s first ever dirt bike race. What a great weekend! My grandson won 2 of his 3 races. My son, his girlfriend and my grandson came to the cottage for the evenings. We enjoyed grilling and sitting by the fire ring. My grandson loved playing with the kids that were with family by the pond. The property is absolutely beautiful! The hosts are very kind and welcoming. I would definitely love to stay again!

Outstanding!!

We stayed at the Irish Valley Cottage for a long weekend in July. Tehani was wonderful. She gave us the lay of the land. Nothing was off limits. We walked the grounds around the property, fed the fish, watched the birds, deer and chipmunks and even heard a pack of coyotes in the evening. The grounds were impeccable. Everywhere you look was beautiful. We had planned on doing things in the local area but instead we never left the cottage. It was so relaxing and the stars at night were amazing. We even caught a few shooting stars. The cottage had everything you could possibly need and was spotless. We cannot wait to go back!!!

AOAA Weekend Getaway

My wife and I have passed at AOAA and have stayed in multiple places nearby, but for AOAA, nearby is half an hour or more! This place is 13 minutes from AOAA, out in a beautiful wooded area with a pond, has a nice long driveway to fit my trailer, and is very well kept. The host was very responsive with my few questions. The place is all I could ask for and then some! This has become our new go-to place for our weekend getaways to ride AOAA!

Perfect Getaway

Despite a crappy situation as to why we were in town visiting, this property made it all worth it! Everything was clean, tidy and very comfortable. The interior was so welcoming and beautifully decorated. The exterior is absolutely gorgeous with all natural scenery and the landscaping adds the finishing touches. The location is great too as you are submerged in the wilderness but are just a few minutes away from the local towns. My husband and I would definitely stay here again!
